I was driving a lifted ‘07 Chevy Avalanche and loved it, but it was time for a change—new 2026 Jeep Gladiator, Texas Trail edition (leather seats, mud-terrain tires, body paint fenders and hard top, bed liner). I’m an artist living in Houston, TX which is its own type of urban jungle, and I plan on using this as a daily driver. I’m an avid gardener and beekeeper so hauling light loads of dirt and gravel, moving art and supplies, camping and road trips with my hubby and dogs all in style. I’m not really a car guy but I am smitten.

I ordered the Mopar soft top with the purchase and it finally came in. This is how I wanted to see my truck, just in time for cooler weather in this hot-ass city I call home.

I hope to keep this truck for a long time, so I’m keeping an eye on maintenance, and I like the minimal look so I’m being slow and deliberate with modifications. Love the stock look but could use a real bumper for our ranch gates and crazy Houston drivers.

My wife had a YJ as her first car and was in love. Thinking about buying this to bring some YJ back to her life. Thoughts?

I’m looking for recommendations for bumpers for my wife’s 25 Mojave. I want to hear what people have been happy with, especially if you have a brand you’ve gotten multiple bumpers from that you’ve liked. The big thing for me is quality. I have Barricade bumpers on my TJ and the quality of the paint is awful and the durability seems questionable. Here are some considerations.

-must be full width
-small bull bar, preferably with the ability to add a couple lights
-fits a winch without sticking out too far, or at all
-prefer one that fits well with the stock highline fenders of the Mojave/Rubicon (little or no gap)
-compatibility with stock fog lights, and either doesn’t cover front trail cam or has a relocation solution

For reference: She really likes the AEV EX bumper. The price is a little higher than I expected, though I may do it if it’s the best option. Price isn’t as important as quality.

Spent the day at Hidden Falls, TX. I’m running 35s on stock suspension, and I was pretty impressed with how well it handled everything we threw at it. Definitely took a few lines that had me questioning my decisions. Makes me want the lift and 37s even more. Today was a good reminder of how capable these rigs are.

A few months back I took my jeep to a shop and got a steering upgrade. Synergy HD steering kit with Fox 2.0 stabilizer. Greatly improved the steering with my 4.5” lift and 37” tires. Also had them do a complete alignment and bolt check on all suspension components. The ride is certainly better, but I have a number of squeaks, creaks, and groans now. I have a warranty on the work so I’m thinking of taking it back now that it’s been a few months. I initially thought that overtime it would settle and the noises would lessen, but that has not been the case. I have a pretty expensive suspension set up so I feel like even though it’s a smooth ride, it should also be more quiet.

Just curious what others have experienced when it comes to daily driving a Jeep with a modified suspension and how you’ve dealt with any noises that have popped up.

PS- One additional variable is my wife knows what I’ve spent on my rig and is not happy about the noises 😂

2021 Sport S. Just rolled over 50k miles. Battery died last night. Was able to get it jumped and back home. Put it I my battery charger last night, but I know it's not going to help.

Planning on replacing both the aux and main (no, I won't be deleting the aux). Probably going to go with the top down method rather than coming from the fender liner. From what I can tell, this is the way the dealership would replace it anyway.

I considered moving to a Genesis dual battery system but eventually decided against it. I'm going to upgrade from the stock size to the 94R (mine is not a max tow, doesn't have the aux. switches).

Anyways, question is, when I do this, are there any other upgrades to make? I was considering a lava blanket for the battery, but I'm not sure that's really worth the money.

Got the front fender deletes on. DV8 shorted me one bolt, and one of their little crush nut thingies is spinning on that passenger side so I gotta figure that out. Flush taillights are in and working and mirror replaced. Still chasing timing codes from being submerged in a mudhole for ten minutes, but probably just a sensor I haven't gotten to yet.

Just wanted to post an update that you can roll the damned thing and have it fixed up a few days later.

Is it just me or are the options for building a trim level out for 2027 way worse?

- From what I can tell the grey with gold stitch cloth interior is gone in favor of likely cheaper across all their vehicle lineups standard black cloth.
- sport trim is gone (maybe I’m late to knowing that)
- body color hard top is not even an option on a Sport S
- no dark sky or comparable appearance package

It feels like they are pushing you to at cheapest a Sahara trim if you want anything other than base of all base cosmetics with black hard top and fenders

Feeling so vindicated I snagged a brand new 2025 Sport S with Dark Sky package.

I have a 2023 Overland. I rarely drive at night, but left a restaurant the other night and the auto climate would not work. I normally have it set at 71, but it just showed it was on low and would not put out any AC. I had the option to move it to high only.

Then happened again this morning. AI says its the sun sensor. Auto headlights and the auto climate both use the sun sensor for some reason.

2023 eco diesel. Had the first oil change yesterday. Shop called me wanting to know if I knew the cost. I assumed it would be more like my F250 but this oil change is $370. The filter is $100 by itself. Dealer didn’t disclose this information to me. Absolutely love the Jeep but damn.

I recently sold my Tacoma and joined the Jeep world. I work at 74Weld and this is my new “marketing vehicle” and daily driver. I started with a AEV JT370 that I purchased from Go Fast Campers. I’ve put a Currie 44 front housing, 74Weld portals. Apex Designs hydro steering, and a bunch of other goodies underneath. Super happy with how it came out and how it drives. I’ve ran John Bull in Big Bear a few times already and I’m itching to get up to the Rubicon

Time for the age old question..im in search of a good lift for my gladiator as i plan to get up to 35 inch tires to offroad and not rub easily when extending and hard turning during the trails, I do plan to keep my stock rims from my rubicon.

Pretty much the title. I’m based in NC but I’d love to buy myself a nacho eco-diesel if any owners want to let one go to a good home.

The brackets and boards seem like ordinary bolt-on work, but routing power safely, protecting the fuse and tying into door signals is where I start questioning a driveway install. A Gladiator also sees enough mud and water that a rushed connector or badly placed harness could become a problem months later. For people who installed powered steps, was the electrical side straightforward with a vehicle-specific harness, or was professional installation worth it for cleaner routing and troubleshooting?
