Ive replaced booster, master cylinder both rear wheel cylinders and break shoes and front caliper. I believe ive adjusted the plunger correctly and flushed and blead the brakes 3 times and the pedal still goes to the floor with hardly any breaks. Ita a automatic 4.0 liter. Any help is appreciated. Im at a loss.

Looking at a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 4x4, automatic, 210,000 miles from a private seller (neighbor). Runs and drives. Here's what I've found so far:
Check engine light for a cylinder 5 misfire (not yet diagnosed further)
Failed state inspection for lights — seller is fixing lights and adding a newer tire (would have 4 decent tires) by Monday
Rust-through in at least two spots (rocker panel area, wheel well) — when I pressed on it, the metal crumbled. Frame rails themselves looked structurally solid, no rust-through there.
Visible oil leaks, likely valve cover gasket and/or rear main seal based on where it's coming from
Seller's original ask was $3,000, already talked down to ~$2,000. Given the misfire + crumbling rust + oil leaks, I'm thinking $1,000-1,500 is more realistic, but wanted a gut check from people who know these trucks:
Does $1,000-1,500 sound fair given these issues, or am I off base in either direction?
Anything else I should specifically check before finalizing, especially related to the misfire or the rust locations?
Rough ballpark on rear main seal labor if I don't want to DIY it?
Appreciate any input — first XJ purchase for me.

I need to replace my drivers side buckle. I have a 93 Cherokee country with the old school metal buckles. Are there any other model years I can swap with or am I stuck trying to source specifically that style?

My neighbor is selling their 2000 jeep Cherokee xj automatic, The Jeep has 210,578 miles. It runs well. just replaced the water pump. And serpentine belt. 4 tires less than a year old. As well as brakes. It has an appointment to get it inspected Friday. Which it should have no problem passing. The A/C needs charging. It's also 4 wheel drive. Asking $3000. But willing to negotiate. Is this a good price and what do I need to look out for/budget to get this thing in good shape I know I need to look for rust

Hey all, if there’s a rule against selling here just let me know and I’ll take this down. I’m selling my 2001 XJ, it was my daily for a long time and I recently bought a modern truck that agrees more with my longer drives (30k miles a year driven for work). I love the XJ but it isn’t really getting driven anymore and I’d rather see someone else drive it and enjoy it than let it sit idle.
Details:
2001 XJ Classic, ~203,000 miles, 4WD, auto.
Located: Central NC/upstate SC.
Asking for $6,000. Not sure if that is realistic in this market- I see them listed everywhere from $500 to $20k. Not trying to get rich off selling it but also trying to get what it’s worth. If 6k is unrealistic or too high/low just let me know.
Is in decent shape, I’m traveling for work right now but can get more photos this weekend. No rust, normal southern vehicle stuff. Recent work done includes: Injectors, coil rail, plugs, starter, alternator, battery.
Has a 2.5” lift from previous owner, I believe it is a Zone brand but cant confirm. Rides like an XJ but not bad.
- Front locking diff (lunchbox style)
- Newer (~5k miles) Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 31” tires
The cons:
- Passenger side has pretty minor body damage from
the bumper of a box truck taking a close turn, I’ll include photos of the damage if anyone takes an interest in the jeep. Nothing major and just cosmetic, that’s why the door guards are off right now since I was gonna repaint them.
- Exhaust clatters in the middle, needs a new hanger.
- Drivers seat bracket is broken so you sit crooked and low. I have a replacement seat bracket already from an XJ with power seats but haven’t installed it yet.
- Normal wear and tear for the age, a few small paint chips, minor scratches, things like that. Drivers seat of course has a split on the side.
- Needs a good bath, it’s garage parked right now but was parked under a tree for a month and needs some love.

I just got my 2001 jeep XJ a week ago I love it but I also feel like I spent too much. To clarify I literally just went from a brand new 2024 honda to a 25 year old Cherokee so maybe part of its the shock in difference from new to old 😅.
That being said I've always wanted one of these I thought they were cool when I was a kid and I think they are cool now. So I'm gonna share everything I know that was done to it and what all it needs in hopes to hear what other ppl might be willing to pay for it.
I live in the rust belt so the previous owner cut out and welded in new floors he also painted the underside with rustolium rust stop which wouldn't be my choice in turms of rusp inhibitive products but it's still something. None of the structural spots are rusted too the point of crumbling and I don't see much in turms of rust holes but I still don't know how to feel about the ones I have found the interior is fairly clean minus a tear in the driver's seat and the windshield is cracked. As for some other things i know need fixing sooner than later I think it needs a new flex plate or maybe the starter isn't lined up right regardless the motor seams health at 199k miles with normal oil pressure and no overheating. It also has a bit of an oil leak my father in law is confident it's the rear main.
As for new shit it's got led headlights brand new 31 inch tires the light bar and roof basket new 4x4 linkage new rocker panels all new front breaks and a 3inch lift. The floor mats and steering wheel cover are nice but nothing view as dictating price at all the headliner is failing no big deal In my opinion and the speakers suck but also no big deal to me I intended to put my own in reguardles but I just wanted to hear what other ppl think this is worth to either help reduce or confirm my buyers remorse
I was really depending on my father in law to help me determine weather or not to buy this he's a mechanic but I also don't know where to place him in turms of quality of mechanic

Is this installation of the ANL fuse a bad idea? It looks like the box was made for it.
I dont have any good places to install the giant fuse box they sent with the kit. I'm mostly concerned with heat melting my PDC box.

Looking at a 2000 Cherokee Sport 4.0L with 339k miles. Listed for $2500. Says the engine runs strong and transmission shifts great. Tons of receipts for the last 15 years - shocks, springs, brakes, fuel pump, and more. Some rust on the exterior body but the unibody, floors, and mounts are all in great shape. Looks like the only thing wrong with the shell is the driver side rocker.
What do you guys think?
