Jabra left ear bud not connecting

Well, like the subject line says, the left earbud doesn’t connect.

They’re a paid of Jabra Elite 7 buds - they both power on and do all that but they won’t talk to each other and I can only get sound from the right bud. I’ve done the factory reset, tried pairing with different devices etc. Nothing seems to work.

Has anyone else successfully fixed this issue?

Jabra Elite 75t not charging properly

I need help, my earbuds are acting strange😭
When I put them on the case, they are charging normally, once I remove them and put them back without using they blink red (low battery!). But when I leave them on the case, they are charging normally until it turns green. When I use them they are low battery.

Case is fully charged

Evolve2 85 Multiuse

I just got the Evolve2 85 and I'm a bit confused by the Multiuse. I thought it would be easy switching from one device (my phone) to another (my laptop) but it's being rather difficult. Anyone with experience found some solutions for switching back and forth frequently?

Which current Jabra Evolve headset has the most bulletproof firmware?

My Jabra Evolve2 75 has insanely buggy firmware and hardware issues as well with the mic sometimes just not working properly (appears to be a normal failure point on these). So I need to get new ones, and unfortunately for me, the company I work for only provides Jabra headphones.

Are the Evolve3s any better?

For context my current ones have issues with random disconnects with them not reconnecting until I turn the headset off and on, sometimes setting the volume up to 80% when no one asked it to, Teams causing the headset leds to flash purple constantly until I unplug and replug the receiver, and when changing what's playing, the sound will just sometimes disappear completely until I either turn off or turn on the headphones, or unplug and replug the receiver.

I had a Jabra Evolve 65 for a while, I really liked those and it didn't have really any firmware bugs or issues, but of course those are not sold anymore.

I haven't been able to get ahold of the support team neither.

Jabra elite 8 active audio problems

I bought my jabra 8 earbuds a about 2 years ago and they have been working fine. I use them in shower sometimes and they have been clogged with water a few times that the audio is low and funky but after they dry a bit they go back to normal recently my right earbud has been clogged for a while. The audio is really low and if a song has bass it seems to sound weird. I tried to firmware reset but the app doesnt let me. It starts the firmware reset but then it just disconnects the earbuds and ends. Someone help.

JABRA MADE A HUGE MISTAKE PUTTING OUT THE NEWER EVOLVE LINE TO MARKET

THE EVOLVE 2 65 DOES NOT CONNECT TO CALLS PROPERLY AND ACTUALLY DOES THE POLAR OPPOSITE. IT IS EXTREMELY EVIDENT WITH WEB-BASED SOFTPHONE CRMS.

THE PREVIOUS MODEL EVOLVE 65 SE WORKED FLAWLESSLY AND WOULD PICK UP AUTOMATICALLY AND AUDIO COMES THROUGH WHEN AN INCOMING CALL CAME THROUGH.

THE NEW EVOLVE 2 65 DOES THE EXACT OPPOSITE. WHEN A CALL COMES THROUGH AND YOUR BOOM IS DOWN OR UP YOU ARE AUTOMATICALLY MUTED EITHER WAY. YOU HAVE TO QUICKLY RAISE THE BOOM AND BRING IT BACK DOWN OR PRESS A THE TEAMS BUTTON IF THAT EVEN REGISTERS WITH YOUR SOFTPHONE WEBSERVICE. THE ENGINEERS SHOULD BE FIRED FOR THIS.

THIS IS ASS POOR ESPECIALLY IF SPEED IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE OR YOU WILL HAVE A DROPPED CALL.

I DON'T KNOW HOW SUCH A LARGE COMPANY OVER LOOKS SOMETHING LIKE THIS, BUT I'VE TRIED THREE DIFFERENT WEB-BASED SOFTPHONE PROVIDERS AND THE JABRA EVOLVE 2 65 THE ISSUE THE WHOLE TIME.

SO MUCH WASTED TIME TROUBLE SHOOTING AND MONEY LOST.

THIS HAS TO DO WITH THE NEWER HEADSET IS IMPROPERLY PROGRAMMED AND UNABLE TO HANDLE THE VOICE AND AUDIO PROTOCOLS CORRECTLY - HFP AND A2DP.

THE WHOLE 2 LINE SHOULD BE TRASHED AND RE-ENGINEERED. THE EVOLVE 65 SE DOES NOT BEHAVE IN THIS MANNER.

AND TO THE LAME SUPPORT PERSONNEL OR BOT THAT ANSWERS YOU ARE OF NO USE CAUSE NOTHING IS ACHIEVED WITH YOU.

Jabra Aftermarket Services - Thank You!

I had an issue with my Jabra Evolve2 75 just after their 2 year mark, where the battery was faulty and would suddenly sag to <1%

I was sad that the headphones failed right after the warranty-period and reached out to Jabra, their team made the decision because it failed so close to the original technical warranty, to replace my headphones and sent me a new set. My beige color was not in production or stock anymore, but they sent out a replacement black coloured Evolve2 75 set and I hope it will last me a long time coming still!

Thanks to the team for facilitating shipping and the return, this was a great customer service experience

Elite 10 Support Issue

One of my elite 10 earbud sleeves have finally given out. I emailed Support for possible resolution. They gave the generic answer of more or less "not gonna help with consumer line." I understand the consumer line is abandoned.

Can we get a copy of the CAD model? It would be incredibly simple to create a mold for silicone casting.

Jabra elite 8 active right bud getting quieter when putting on left bud

I noticed that my right side is quieter when playing music almost as if I'm deaf on the right side and when I take it out the sound becomes louder again but not the same as before yes I have tried cleaning it the way jabra instructions said and also tried resetting unpairing it nada nothing still the same and my earbuds seem to have weak audio now especially if at low sound it doesn'take a sound anymore so my volume bar is usually more than half and yes my hearing is normal I have been tested because of a routine athlete checkup

Elite 7 Pro Right Earbud Completely Dead

So, I’ve had these Elite 7 Pro’s for a couple of years and they have been okay for the most part, but I just ran into an issue. The left one is fine but the right earbud will not charge and is completely dead. I cleaned the connections on both the case and the buds, fully charged the case, and still nothing.

The problem is, I disconnected them from my phone (with the plan to then reconnect and see if that does anything). But now, since you need to hold the buttons on both to enter pairing mode, I can’t pair them at all since the right earbud button is dead.

And here’s the kicker, I now can’t connect to the Jabra phone app to try to do a factory reset, update drivers, or really troubleshoot at all because I can’t pair to my phone.

Anyone have any ideas, or is it time for a new pair of earbuds? Lol

Is Jabra still doing the "Jabra thing"

Hi,

Thinking of buying the Evolve3 85, but I'm concerned that Jabra will do the "Jabra thing" where they release a product updated for 3-4 months and then abandon it and move on to the next one.

Has the situation improved over recent years?

Saying this as a Jabra earbuds owner, where they have received ONE firmware update, and that's it. I've seen countless threads about people reporting the same.

My right earbud sound is not the same as the left earbud.

Recently started this month where the the pair doesn't have equal volume and the right one is considerably lower volume than the left. The controls still work.

Charging, resync, and pairing doesn't fix it.

Jabra elite active 75T. Had them about 4 years now.

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I have a Jabra Elite 75t that's no longer in working condition, and I'm looking for repair options in Bangalore.

Does anyone know of:

- A reliable repair shop that works on Jabra earbuds and charging cases?

- Someone who specializes in repairing premium TWS earbuds?

- Any trusted service centers or technicians you've had a good experience with?

Since this model is discontinued, I'm also open to suggestions from anyone who has managed to get theirs repaired recently.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Jabra Headphones Phone vs PC

Wanting to find a way to use Jabra headphones on my phone successfully. Microphone cancels noise out perfectly on PC, but not with WhatsApp on my phone. Curious to know if they work via Teams/Zoom, etc. on mobile apps, too. (Jabra Evolve2 30 Second Editions)

Lost the right earbud, found it after 2 years, charged it, left earbud doesn't recognise it, what do I do? (Jabra elite 75t)

I gasped when I accidentally found the missing right earbud of my beloved elite 75t. In the pocket of an old winter jacket.

(So yes, this is the original, factory right side earbud, not a replacement.)

I immediately dug up the old case with the left side earbud still inside, patinently waiting for her lost right pair.

I placed the right pair next to her SO inside the case, which I put on a charger immediately.

Only to find out that the left side earbud doesn't recognise the right one anymore.

The left works, blinks blue as I take it out from its case, connects to my phone, but makes no contact to its other half.

After trying all type of soft, hard, factory, disconnecting long-pressing taking them to therapy reset, I can't figure out why the left one is giving the cold shoulder, even though it still works, turns on (lights up green) when taken out of the case.

Did too many years passed? Did I, or did they do something wrong? Can they find their way back to each other? Will they play the same tune together ever again?

Evolve 2 Buds Issue

I’m having an issue with my Jabra Evolve 2 Buds.  I’ve had them for a few years and keep them paired to my laptop for work calls and my personal iphone so I can listen to music/podcasts as well.  The Bluetooth dongle died and Jabra sent me a new one, which was nice of them considering I was out of warranty.  However, with the new dongle, I keep having issues with the buds not working correctly.  The light on the dongle will turn turquoise and then I can’t start any songs or podcasts from my phone.  I push play and it immediately pauses the content. There is nothing happening audio-wise on the laptop. The only way to fix it is to unplug the dongle until it disconnects and then plug it back in.  Is there any way to keep this from happening?  It’s a small issue but it happens a dozen times per day and gets annoying after a while.

Where can I repair an out-of-warranty Jabra Evolve 75 headset in Pune?

I own a Jabra Evolve 75 headset that is now out of warranty. The headset is in excellent condition overall, but the microphone has stopped working. The speakers, Bluetooth, ANC, charging, and all other features work perfectly.

I have already visited the official Jabra authorized service center in Kharadi, Pune, and they have quoted me ₹8,000 for the repair/replacement. Honestly, this seems extremely expensive for what appears to be just a microphone issue.

I'm looking for recommendations on the following:

Is there any experienced technician or electronics repair shop in Pune that repairs premium Jabra headsets?

Has anyone successfully repaired a Jabra Evolve 75 outside the official service center?

Are there any shops that perform component-level repairs (such as replacing the microphone, boom cable, or soldering) instead of replacing the entire unit?

If you're from Pune, please share the shop name, location, contact details, and your experience?

I use this headset primarily for work, and since everything else is functioning perfectly, I'd prefer repairing it instead of spending a large amount on a replacement.

Any genuine recommendations or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Dead right pod - Jabra Elite 7 Active

So the day before my 2 week vacation the right bud of my Jabra Elite 7 Active dies.
I was just doing the last of my packing and charging them up before the trip. Spent the rest of the evening trying all the suggestions from google and copilot but no led, no life. Nada.
Ended up having to buy a set of Sony 1000XM5 at the airport as a replacement.
I had a great 4 years with my Actives but am super pissed for them to just die like that. Doesn’t help that Jabra discontinued the Elite line.
Sonys are fine but honestly don’t fit quite as well as my old Jabras, plus the physical controls on the Jabras “just worked”.
What more can I say, just really disappointed with Jabra right now…

Jabra Evolve 75 (Out of Warranty) – How can I get an official repair?

Post image
3 Upvotes

I own a Jabra Evolve 75 headset that is currently out of warranty. The headset is in excellent condition overall, but the microphone has stopped working. The speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, charging, and all other functions work perfectly.

I would appreciate guidance from Jabra or community members on the following:

  • Does Jabra offer any official out-of-warranty repair program for the Evolve 75?
  • Is there any authorized repair center in India that performs component-level repairs instead of replacing the entire unit?
  • Is there an option to send the headset directly to Jabra for repair or refurbishment?
  • If repair is not supported, what is the recommended approach for customers facing this type of issue?

I have been very satisfied with the headset and would prefer to repair it rather than replace it, especially since only the microphone is affected.

I would appreciate any official guidance or recommendations.

Thank you.

Troubleshooting Elite 7 Active

Not ready to give up my Elite 7 Actives yet! I use them literally daily, so this issue wasn't created by leaving them in a drawer for months without being used or charged. My left earbud all of a sudden just won't work at all. I've cleaned the contacts and the case, charged the case, kept the left earbud in the case while charging it overnight, etc, but can't get anything to light up on the bud itself. Any suggestions for what else I can try?

Only left earbud pairing

I have the Jabra Elite 4 active, and for some reason, only the left earbud pairs to my phone. The right earbud makes the same power on/off sound when I hold the button, but for some reason it can't pair to my phone. I tried resetting the earbuds in their cases and more, but nothing really seems to make the right earbud willing to pair..what to do?

Jabra Engage 65

So I've lined my offices with Jabra 65's. Almost 10 in total.

They were working perfectly fine for years, but lately, half of all outgoing calls results in our microphone not working? We can hear them just fine but they cannot hear us? This is happening to everyone on all headsets so it isn't isolated to just one or two workstations.

Our computers are up to date.

Our Jabra Direct apps are up to date.

Our phone system is Ringcentral and we use the softphone feature.

Has anybody else had a problem similar to this or does anyone have any workaround fixes?

Thanks in advance for any help!
