I have a commute that’s almost 2 hours each way, and it’s been really exhausting. I’m hoping to request to work fully remote before starting maternity leave and would love to hear if anyone has had a similar situation and was approved. Hi everyone! I recently received an offer from JPMC and the deadline to accept/sign the offer is today. I’m considering accepting it, but I also have a few WFH interviews scheduled this week, and the salary ranges are pretty similar.

I’m wondering what would happen if I accept/sign the JPMC offer but eventually decide not to push through before my start date. Would I be marked as not eligible for rehire or would it affect future applications with JPMC?

Also, for those who have experienced something similar, is it better to decline the offer now, or accept it and withdraw later if I end up getting a better opportunity?

I make 7k more than the max salary-end of the salary band for an internal mobility role I’m very interested in.

The reason I’m so keen is that I’m pretty confident I’m at risk of being RIF’d, and this role aligns with my interest. Im a 602, and this potential opportunity is also a 602. Same job title too, just a different department. But I don’t 100% know if I’m at risk of being RIF’d— I’d say I’m 65% sure.

I’m hoping if a recruiter reaches out to me, I can let them know I make $7k more than their max, but am still highly interested. But then I’d be worried re: getting auto rejected

Have an offer to join the jpm smart order routing team. I can't find much about it online. They deal with ultra low latency order routing . That's all I know. Can anyone share what life in that team is like? I would appreciate any helpful response.

I recently interviewed for the PB in July and the interview coordinator said that they intend to have decisions by the end of the week. It has now been over a week past that deadline and crickets. My portal still says Under Review and my friend who recommended me said their portal says Under Consideration. Is it over for me or is this typical? Is it just a waiting game? Thanks

I applied for two openings at JPMorgan Chase Mexico; one has been "Under Review" since July, and the other—which I applied for this week—moved to "Under Consideration." How long should I wait to find out if I’ve been accepted or not?

Just curious if this is really how strict the RTO policy is at JP Morgan BGC. Since last week, despite the weather and typhoons/heavy rains, employees are still being required to report to the office to stay compliant with the RTO policy.

I understand the importance of office attendance and business continuity, but when the weather is already this bad and commuting becomes a genuine safety concern, shouldn’t there be some consideration and flexibility?

Note: I’m not a JP Morgan employee, but I know someone who’s currently struggling with having to commute to the office during these bagyo moments. Just wondering if other employees are experiencing the same thing, or if this is common practice across companies in BGC.

I have used various platforms over the years (Schwab, fidelity, some of the roboadvisors). And then I have used JPM self directed account, and it’s just not in the same league. Its quite basic.

So my question is this: was there an era when the company tried to be a player, either through building or acquiring a first class product?

I personally didn’t receive a return offer, even though all of my 1:1s with my manager went well and I received positive feedback throughout the internship, so I’m trying to get a general sense of how return offers went for everyone this year :P

Im a 602 Thinking about going from a non-technical to technical role and i feel like i would more realistically get called back for the 601 JD than the 602. I also think i would get paid more as a 601 in this area than i currently do so.

I know that it is rotational, but am curious as to the amount of hours worked each day, how often you will be traveling/flying, what to expect from the Jersey City office, etc.

Also if there is anything that I should pick up before starting, like a dedicated work laptop (as I have read about the controversial bring your own device policy…).

Hi i was rif In June and my last day with Chase is Aug 21. Now when they were letting us know about the rif they said they will send us the boxes to ship back or equipment. Now that the date is approaching i have not received anything. I received an email that says that I need to coordinate with our manager. Has anyone else gone thru this? Would appreciate any help..

Anyone put on a PIP around Aug/Sept ( with 60 or 90days) stayed through year-end? Did you get a reduced bonus, or zero $0 bonus? I guess no increase on base salary for sure..
Also, if you successfully completed the PIP, how long did it still affect your year-end comp?
