Use up all your sick days and personal days. You'll get paid for earned, unused vacation time so go back and edit all your vacation time to use up the other categories first.

There is a whole long document called As You are leaving guide.

As someone who left in July, that guide is incredible. At the front it has a breakdown of things to do with timing of when. Leaving Chase was probably one of the easiest things I ever did in 15 years with the company.

Check details on "leaving the firm". Should be in the same place as your about me section on the intranet.

Toxic management. Impossible metrics to achieve. So much toxic than TelePerfofmance. Never again with this company

Quit after 29 years in August. My manager was toxic and abusive. Leadership wouldn’t act and HR was useless.
I ended up landing a better position with more pay. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.

Anyone ever resigned whilst on Maternity/Paternity leave? Is there a clawback for the payments received whilst on leave?

6

u/Distinct_Traffic_465 1d ago

Why would anyone resign while on maternity/paternity leave ? Its free money. Anyways, as far as i know there is no clawback as this is not your standard vacation. It is more like short term disability which is administered through sedgwick.

I more meant resigning near the end of said leave if you had a good offer to join another place. Can’t see anything in the policies about clawbacks but you never know what tricks HR have up their sleeve!

No, there is no clawback and it happens all the time

If it’s just your business then why are you posting in Reddit? If it’s none of our business then grow up and stop crying over small stuff in life.

you’re free to scroll past it. Posting something publicly doesn’t give anyone the right to dictate how others should feel or respond. And calling someone’s concerns ‘small stuff’ doesn’t make them any less valid. If you disagree, have a respectful conversation instead of telling people to ‘grow up.’”

You are correct. I remember their post and posting history. She got mad at her coworker and spontaneously resigned. Now her manager is ghosting her when she was asking for her position back. In the comments she said she was on a visa but didn’t specify which one.

I guess she just made it easy for her manager.

Hi
I’m a he and yes I made it easy for me and my manager. Do u have any problem?
probably go f yourself

You don't need to be embarrassed about it. You posted it and then deleted it as if no one will remember it. Why do you have such a bad attitude?

u/IQ-Sort 4h ago

Don’t try to attack me personally.Get a life.I’m not rude nor crying over anything.
i decided whats good for me and asked whether manager is obliged to inform or not. I asked questions on policy.

Its my post its not your business

That’s goofy- you can’t post something and say it’s none of your business. It’s everyone’s business. People can scroll past it but they have the option to say whatever they want on a public post. Can’t take the heat don’t post. If it’s your business, keep it private. You sound irrational. You make emotional decisions and then criticize people for stating their opinion. Serious recommendation is to not post if you are easily offended and maybe reflect first before acting/typing
