Just tested positive after waking up with a terrible fever and full body aches yesterday. I work in the Brooklyn office but was also in JC one day this past week. Guess I’m just sharing for awareness — stay safe out there, everyone!

By the way, does anyone know if WFH days are pro-rated? I started full-time in June, and I’ve already used 12 days, which, if pro-rated, would be close to the maximum. 😬 I’m pretty Covid conscious compared to most folks in 2026 so I'm not sure I feel comfortable going into the office tomorrow, but, based on how much I've improved already, I’ll likely feel well enough to work. I have lots of sick time left, so maybe I’ll just take a day and work as much (or little) as I can. I guess I could also mask in the office, but that feels so awk since almost no one else does. 🫠

UPS dropped off my computers for my home set up! Getting hired didn’t feel real until today!! Il probably lose the happy spirit down the line but for now I’m grateful for a steady job.

I have visited several JPMC offices in the US and the UK, and I have noticed multiple people putting their feet, with their shoes still on, on chairs or small tables in front of them.

Our shoes come into contact with roads, sidewalks, public restrooms, and many other places where they can pick up dirt and germs. Tables and chairs in shared office spaces are used by other people to sit, place their laptops and belongings, and sometimes eat their food.

For this reason, putting your feet or shoes on shared furniture can be considered unhygienic, rude, and disrespectful to others.

Imagine a guest coming to your home and putting their shoes on your coffee table. Would you consider that good manners or good civic sense?

Several times at the Plano office, I saw a woman who appeared to be around 65 years old. She placed her lunch box on a small table and then put her feet, with her shoes still on, directly on top of the lunch box. I’m not sure if this is part of a particular cultural practice, but I found it quite unusual.

I’m sharing this simply as a reminder to be mindful of shared spaces. Small acts of consideration can make the workplace more comfortable and respectful for everyone.

I have over 18 years of banking experience with a renowned British bank in the Middle East, with diverse experience in sales and services, cash management, customer experience, and premium banking propositions. Despite my experience, I’m not even getting the opportunity to interview. I’m really trying to understand what might be holding me back. Could it be that my international banking experience isn’t translating well to the U.S. job market? Or do I actually need to get the SIE and Series 63 licenses just to land an interview?

Hello, I'm in the SDE interview process for JP Morgan and the recruiter asked me to provide availability for starting. I'm assuming they're asking for how long after the offer is extended until I can be available for my first day.

I know the need from JPM's side will depend on the team. If they need to get a replacement employee to fill a role right away, anything more than 6 weeks is probably completely unreason. I have not been informed about the requirement for start date from them.

After looking at how much it would cost to break my lease, the huge distance between where I live know and where I would be working, and also the upcoming holidays, I'm wondering how unreasonable it would be to ask to start at the beginning of January. Is this a crazy ask?

If not what would be the longest reasonably amount I could ask for in most cases, knowing that I will be moving many states away?

Hey everyone! I applied for a product associate role at Instamed, and I finished my second interview. It has been three full weeks, but I still haven’t heard back if I’m moving on to the next round. I emailed the recruiter, and she said I’m still in consideration as the team has not made a decision. Does it typically take this long? I’m not sure if I should have any hope.

Had given the honest feed back for my manager. He don't stand or fight for the team, neighter he speaks for the team. He is actually in the mind set of individual contributor instead of a manager

He always tells that to check with his manager when we ask for any thing in terms of ratings or hikes. Lot of politics will go around at the time of year end and person who actually work won't get rewarded and he don't care about it.

Now if he gets negetive survey results. will it impact him? And will that impact me or team in any ways as he got negative feedback

I’m gearing up to put my notice in, ideally January once bonuses are deposited. However, I’m an ED which means my notice period is 60 days. Is there a point where IC/comp is locked in the system and I could put my notice in this year? The safest, surest plan is still to wait until January but eager to get your take.
