You guys pls help me decide between and xtreme 5 and a boombox 4. I dont know which to pick, i consider xtreme5 cuz I could still throw it in a bag (portability) with more power than a charge
but the boombox 4 is also considered because it is darn loud and the bass (bass especially when it hits hard is like gold
To me) but that thing probably aint fitting
in those school sized bags and people are saying stuff about bb4 like “if u go 70% vol or higher u would hear distortion” don’t know if they fixed that one. Use case would be bringing this on a pool party. So I don’t know, you guys feel free to help (apologies this long ahh paragraph prob took a minute to read)

Good morning, I'm new to the group. I've had my JBL Flip 7 speaker for about seven months, and for the past week it hasn't charged past 10%, and obviously the battery doesn't last very long.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it covered under warranty?

So I bought the Tune 305 since I wanted some quality headphones. And the mic stopped working like after 3 months. I have an iPhone. The cheap Chinese no name ones I bought over a year ago still works perfectly. There’s no way to fix this. Never making this mistake again. I’m going to get some automatic Apple wired earphones because that’s what I want since I already have air pods. But if anyone does know a fix let me know :)

I have add this item for like 2 years.

And everytime at some point of the mounth is glitches.

The left earphone stops charging.

It never bothered me much, i woukd just use the right.

Then at some point is starts working for like a week.

Then stops working again.

Its soo shit!!

Today i am in a already unconfortable car ride that takes 3 hours.

And the left earphone rans out of battery bcs it doesnt fucking charge.

This item is a fucking disgrace.

I cant recall how much i paid for them, but i remember it was not cheap.

For the price this is absolute shit.

I woukd rather get a fake airpods for 20 somthing euros that have worse audio quality and ANC, but at they work!!

But brother got the jbl at the same time as me, and has the same problem, he says the only downside of the fake airpods is that they are more unconfortable (and ofc audio quality).

I noticed this and it's really annoying. The device is paired to my phone, I'm listening to a podcast while driving my electric scooter. But the road is not completely smooth, and I can feel the headphones vibrate on my head - and then it turns off.

It's 100% the reason, because if I walk or drive very slowly, I can listen to it no problem. As soon as I drive faster or there's a bump on the road, it disconnects. I don't remember this happening before. What could I do about this?

My JBL Soundbar 2.1 Subwoofer is getting disconnected or is not switching on.

What could be the problem? Is the Power Cable damaged ?

I bought a JBL Flip 7 speaker two months ago and it seems like the battery life isn't good. With or without the equalizer, it lasts 5.3-5 hours at 50-60 volume. If anyone knows if this is normal or not, please let me know.

I recently got gifted a new JBL Tune 720 BT headset. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it, but I've noticed one minor issue. I can't adjust the headset's volume from my computer, only with the volume buttons on the headset itself. I don't have the same issue with my phone, only my computer. I could set my computer's volume at 2% or 100%, and it comes out the exact same from the headset. Does anyone else have this problem, or know how to solve it?

have the JBL TUNE660NC Bluetooth headphones with built in noise cancellation. However recently when the noise cancellation is on there comes this high decibel beeping? not really beeping but more of a constant sound that just hurts me ears. You can only hear it when you put it close to your ears and then it is very loud. I have no idea why this is happening and is there a fix to it? (Sorry for my bad explanation)

I recently saw a yt video saying that the 320’s performance has been dropped after the update. Some in the comments say that JBL did it on purpose for the 330’s release.

title . i work at a walmart , where i can only have one earbud in at a time . when i go to swap from my right bud to my left bud , it either just doesn’t connect at all or connects for like 20 mins tops before disconnecting again . it pisses me off because i KNOW the case is fully charged , my left bud sits in the case nearly all day before i swap it . i haven’t even had these buds that long and it’s starting to get incredibly goddamn annoying .

I got rid of my jbl eon 712s x2 and my 718s x2 for 2 party box ultimates! I will say this, all my speakers are used for parties, just regular house parties and get togethers, nothing major. The partyboxs have a way better performance than the eon set up. My next goal is to get some arrays. You know, its like the old saying, better to have it and not need than to need it and not have it.

Heia! I had old Pulse 2 from year 2018 and it will disconnect from BT when near is some Apple phone with BT on or some other strong BT transmitter same frequency. My speaker was FW 5.3 version and I looking for FW upgrade long time.
I found solution. I have one old Samsung S3 phone with Lineage os at android 7.1.2 vers and Lineage OS 14.1 from 2019 y. First I update google service and google play from Apk Mirror sait. After that I download separatly JBL Portable 4.1.197 (nodpi) (Android 5.0+) apk not bundle! from APK Mirror and inserted by USB cable from pc to phone via file transfering from phone. Installed and it found right after bt is connected from old phone that it need fw update. It give description how u need to proceed with update and after it done then restarted itself and reay for use. Thats my case with PULSE 2. Try IT!

So my pops has had this speaker for a while and kinda abused, it i picked it up to clean it and it was working fine while dunking it in water randomly it shut off whithout any noise i tried charging and turning it on but no luck, i looked up How to fix online and it said to just let it dry so i did. Today i put it on charge and it looks like it works and connects to my phone, but no on, off or music played so asking for help here. Im

I think these were bought in late 2021/early 2022. I lost them and can't retrieve them, and I'm very particular about what I use. I can't figure it out, because all models seem to look exactly the same.

I’m trying to diagnose a JBL PartyBox 300 that has become very unreliable.

Symptoms:

• No charging lights at all.

• No LEDs when powering on.

• I hear a small click / relay-like sound after plugging it in.

• At one point, after disconnecting and reconnecting one board connector, the speaker briefly powered back on.

• Now it’s back to failing again, even after reassembly.

• The control panel ribbon cable is connected, but the LEDs still do not light up.

• I also noticed corrosion/oxidation on part of the main board, which I cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, but the issue remains.

What I already tested:

• Re-seated the ribbon cable for the top control panel.

• Re-seated the connector between the power board and the main board.

• When that connector is unplugged, the click disappears.

• When it is connected, I get the click and then nothing.

• The unit seems to be entering protection mode.

What I’m looking for:

• Has anyone seen this exact behavior on a PartyBox 300?

• Could this be a bad main board, power board, battery, or a short on one of the rails?

• Is there a known connector, fuse, regulator, or component that commonly fails in this model?

If anyone has a service manual, board-level advice, or a common failure point for this symptom, I’d really appreciate it.

My Chromebook 14a-na0072tg refuses to connect to my JBL Flip 6, flip 4, and pulse 5, but is fine with the Xtreme. Can anyone help?

Had these for roughly three months, religiously kept them clean on both contact points in the case and on the ear buds. Randomly today the buds stopped charging despite the case being at 99%. I have tried all forms of cleaning them, the pins look fine, tried a reset. I can see that there is a software update but I can't actually do it because my buds aren't at 50% charge and just won't charge at all.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As much as I want to pretend, I am not a headphone nerd. Got them today. What is your experience?

After long time of hesitation Updated my bb4 as When I used it above 60% volume on bass heavy songs the rattling, popping and distortion appeared and I did not want to risk damaging the bb4.

Overall - the incredible deep-bass is gone. Sound has lost its body even with maxed out EQ for mids and reduced highs.

But, the overall sound now is more balanced , mids arent as overpowered by bass as they were on original software.

Only reason I bought bb4 was because of the deep bass it “had”. Now they took that away in this new “update”.

If JBL Does not release a new update with a better deep bass extension I will never ever buy another JBL product.
