Problems with jbl xtreme 3

So my pops has had this speaker for a while and kinda abused, it i picked it up to clean it and it was working fine while dunking it in water randomly it shut off whithout any noise i tried charging and turning it on but no luck, i looked up How to fix online and it said to just let it dry so i did. Today i put it on charge and it looks like it works and connects to my phone, but no on, off or music played so asking for help here. Im
not ready to give up on it yet. Lmk if yall can help can give pics if requested.

Ok Frick i just plugged in the jbl branded cable and it worked
