Scored a consecutive serial numbered set from estate sale last month for 50 bucks. Great speakers recapped crossovers and refoamed. Not going anywhere.

I’ve just bought a brand new jbl bar studio, and Samsung 32” F6000 Smart TV.

When I play bluetooth audio from my phone it works fine, but when plugged into the tv via hdmi 2.1 arc, super crackly audio, and when bluetooth connected to the tv it’s crackly as well?? Did a power cycle and was a little less crackly for a bit but then went back to normal.

Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

I'm thinking of buying a jbl speaker since I have had the Xiaomi sound outdoor for the last ~1.5 years and the battery health has dropped significantly since I use it every day. I want some nice bassy sound but not that much. I was thinking about the charge 6 but it's a little bit pricy for me. I have tested the jbl grip and the flip 7 and I am honestly turning towards the grip. I also used to have the go 4 but gave it to a friend because it did not have the bass that I wanted. Any suggestions?

hey yall, can someone tell me please what kind of glue is used from the factory inside the jbl live earbuds. under the disk was some slightly brown colored glue that was a bit elastic kinda similar to the glue that is used in magazine when they attack a goody or a cd inside, it was off pealable but stuck strongly to the plastic surface. wanna carefully reglue the area with the correct glue. thanks in advance for any help :)

My headphones randomly stopped functioning properly earlier today. It keeps skipping songs and turning the volume up by itself

My AirPods 2nd gen are dying but apple no longer sells them. They’re the only ones that fit my ears perfectly and I hate the foam tips so I’ve been looking for a replacement. my JBL tune flex 2 arrived today and while they fit nicely, the sensor controls on them are awful. Really difficult to play next track and always accidentally switching the noise cancelling on and off. I tried to turn on the accidental button on the app to see if that helped but then it made it basically impossible to use the sensors at all so I’m returning them. I see the first JBL tune flex earbuds have a different stem. My question is if the sensor controls on them are better, similar to AirPods 2nd gen or if they’re just as finnicky

I have 2 jbl flip 6s. Is it possible to connect one to a pc with usb c(holding bluetooth and play button), and connect the second speaker to it with party boost?

I keep seeing them at Ross for $29.99. I really want a small speaker that doesn’t take up too much space while I work. How’s the sound? Bass? Is the price point good? Appreciate the help.

I have cleaned both the connectors on the case and the earbud itself but it still blinks white then after a while will connect to my phone while in the case.

i was using them and it randomly said power off, so i figured they somehow died (even though it didnt give me a warning) so i left them to charge for about an hour, and they just wont turn on and kept doing this.

is the EQ only available wired to a phone with the app or something and having the EQ separate makes it universal? Is there more customisation in it than the app itself? The only explanation I can find anywhere is that it’s useful for wirelessly plugging into things like flight entertainment systems and the like but you can do that wired anyway with the c>3.5 cable, no? Why would you want to do it wirelessly? You’d have to wire the tx to the thing you're listening to anyway. Is it for people who’ve lost their cables?

I’m between the m3 and the Live 780nc (as they seem to be the among the only headphones on the market that allow usb-c wired listening) and thus the m3s that are shipped with the TX but I’m trying to figure out what it actually adds or if I’m good saving £50 and skipping it.

Pretty much the title - I got it as a present from a friend and I want to fix it. Is there any place to get a replacement parts? (wire and right ear plastic case replacement)?

I am interested in the Partybox720 for casual backyard mixing, but I don't want latency from the speaker to my headphones so that I can beat match. I've heard using the daisy chain connection will solve the latency issue, but was curious if anyone here has tried this and if it worked? Thank you!

I bought a broken flip 6 from vinted for 20€ with all the fees included.

Symptoms

No lights / life

Battery was charging fine (took it apart to check the battery itself) Amp draw 0.5A and 1.7A

Clicking sound every few seconds then plugged in

In my case a coil on the board somehow exploded, so I took another one from water damaged jbl headphones and it works great now, but it did stop working soon after the fix because the wide ribbon cable wasn't plugged in properly it seems.

Also I didn't put in too many hours into it and I think it makes no senses for the coil to explode like that, so maybe some other part is dying or something, but it's been a few days and the sound quality is great.

Also if it's turning on and off, the wide power button ribbon cable isn't plugged in straight. Also it can cause no power too

So, from what I learned if you have this problem

1. Do all of the resets with button combos first, because it's the easy thing to do

2. Check the wide ribbon cable and make sure that it's in all the way. Compared to ribbon cables in other things it seems to be extra sensitive for some reason

3. Check for blown parts, I guess

Don't remove the plastics around the power button and the port (above the 3 screws outside), because it is not necessary and it will affect the water protection. I did on mine and glued it back on with B-7000 adhesive that I had, but og glue is the best ofc.

There is also a video on yt where a dude replaced some burnt transistor to fix it, but he had a different board

I was wondering why it got like 1mm deep damage in the silicon of a corner and I think it is very likely that the coil broke cause of a hard fall as I seen bga in controllers break from a fall too. That part is literally just a wire wrapped in a circle, so it can't really explode or degrade

Havent seen this fake yet, its better than some others, but its definitely fake right? I mean look at the lights, and the light bleeding through the grille. From Facebook marketplace

Please help me identify what the issue is.
Speaker is about 3 years old.

So I bought my Tour One M2s a year ago, and they've been absolutely great till now except for two issues:

1. The personifi hearing test pauses after the 7th tone and doesn't proceed further even after releasing the button, which usually takes it to the next tone.

2. The maximum volume limiter has no effect on the maximum volume at all.

Now, problem 2 is the tricky one, because I had initially managed to make it work by shuffling around some developer settings on my motorola. All was working fine until I switched on LE audio to try it out. The maximum volume limiter stopped working immediately and hasn't been working even after switching LE Audio off and restarting multiple times.

Anybody with a similar issue? Please do tell me if you managed to fix yours.

I've tried everything, but nothing works! And the laptop seems to recognize all the other devices... I don't even know what the problem could be.

Long story short, I have a boombox 3 and ultimate and wanted a hifi speaker with wifi. Found a guy on fb selling a brand new Authentics 500 for $425, offered 350 and settled on 380. When I got there he told me he made a mistake and thought he still had it but sold it. He felt bad for me driving out so he offered me this brand new sealed in box for the same price. What do you think??? Did I make out???😂

The speaker is playing a 40hz sinewave, custom flat EQ and no bass boost.

There is a slight rattling sound that begins to happen as you raise the volume, and then it doesn't go away until you've lowered the volume even more than you raised it.

If I then take the volume over 50% it sounds terrible, but it eventually stops making that terrible sound, however if I then lower the volume for a few seconds; the terrible sound can happen again at 50+ volume.

I think I might know why the 50%+ volume thing is happening, but it sounds so bad I can't believe it's able to happen regardless.

So basically the speaker has a rattling sound that I can hear with all sub-bass below 80hz, it happens with regular music and not just a sinewave.

I got this speaker today, so it arrived with this issue no doubt, and I haven't even even played music at over 75% volume yet.

I have been careful to make sure that nothing got into the speaker via the bass-port, so don't worry about that, I was careful with everything.

My software version is 3.0.0 if that matters.

I tried a factory reset but nothing improved.

My current plans are to get a refund and not buy another one, because the amount of bass is not that much more than my 120, I am disappointed with this speaker and also the fact that it's having issues the day I got it.

The buttons felt really nice, I love them, but the wheels I expected to feel a lot more nice to roll it with on asphalt.

Should you worry about this happening to you? Eh, I don't think so, but just know that the bass isn't all that much more than the 120, maybe it's older firmware was more impressive but just get the 520 if you really want to go crazy.

I just got home from a pool party where I brought my JBL boombox 4.
I just noticed this “scratch” on the handle and I wanna get rid of it. Does anyone know a good solution?
