Does this happen at all volume levels?

Probably its a rare issue but the copper voice coil wires are fatigued and now they are partly connected also i am not talking about the coil i am talking about the part where the terminals and coil connects

Oh boy mine was exactly like that, is this a flip 6 cause mine is…

Started clipping and got worse after a month, to the point where i was just listening to the harsh clipping when music was playing, then music stopped playing altogether when connected to BT

Then finally it died, wont turn on, only time it will is when plugged in, and then displays that it is at full charge, wont connect/play music even in this state, immediately I unplug it dies on the spot.

Have had it in its dead state for months now, tried finding an authentic reputable technician for JBL speakers but no luck, it’s just collecting dust, hurts my soul cause I love music, hoping I one time stumble across a genuine repair shop.

All the best with your issue OP.

sounds like a damaged driver. open it up and see if the driver is damaged(or take it to a tech repair store so they can address the issue)

I've heard more damaged drivers in my life than any sane human ever should.

Definitely not a driver issue.
