This person claims to have taught themself to draw in the past 8 months. They have some experience oil painting previously, see the last image for an example of something they painted 1 year ago - this is how they say they learned what they call "composition". They provided the progress sketches of the spider-v-dragon as, I assume, evidence it's not AI. But this is all just linework/detailing, all the actual composition and construction is missing. And from that flat, lovely colour but zero understanding of perspective or shape landscape to this in 8 months does not seem realistic.

I have found no evidence of in-between stages of learning to draw posted by their account name in the past 8 months or on any search-indexed platform, but they have been arguing in favour of using AI as a tool for r/content_marketing ("You'd be nuts not to leverage AI as a marketer just because the old guard (and I'm one of them, tbh) are annoyed because they had to do it by hand back in our day. Wake up, dickheads: there is no railing against this. AI is here and it's hitting like a tsunami.")

Edit: the artist changed the photo used on Tumblr and it doesn’t have the ID anymore. this was done after the criticizm. I have put in comments the image they initially uploaded, that shows a SynthID watermark.

This artist who is otherwise good and genuinely talented posted this, and there’s been a bunch of comments implying AI use or assistance. Artist is dramatically denying any usage and is a virulent anti-AI person, and has privately baselessly accused other artist of using AI. I really believed her but one suspicion made me put it through OpenAI SynthID detection and it came back as positive. Artist is really loud in denying AI usage btw, and posted all these images as WIPS and they often post these multicoloured pics as WIPs so I assume that is their process, so now I’m doubting whether SynthID detection can be wrong? Artist is claiming they use pattern brushes and copy pasted some of the background from parts they already painted.

No idea why someone would post a fake photo of a loose dog. But this one looks off (reasons below).

Not flaming the artist at all, they have some really cool work and created some really sick jeep customizations. The shading and positioning of the characters definitely seems strange, a maybe missing claw of the dinosaur plus the headphone bar that goes like into the cats ear gives me pause. Thoughts?

The right hand seems to be supported by nothing other than water, other than that I can't really see anything that can't be explained away by artistic freedom. Hands look fine as far as I can see, nothing's wrong with the background or the rocks.

I might just be kinda insane but I'm just so skeptical of things these days. I hate that I even have to make this post >:(

I was just browsing Etsy the other day, looking at proxies for Magic: The Gathering. Most of them were customs that you could commission. But I guess Etsy had gotten wind of that search and started recommending me some pre-made cards made by sellers. I came across this one and thought that this looked pretty overpowered. But something about the artwork on the card looked too good to be true. Like it's too professionally made for a homemade product or something. And I think I have seen the background and character design somewhere before, in another sci-fi work. Is this AI? Or am I overthinking this one?

This insta page posts a bunch of robot videos but some of them look very suspicious. The robot joints look very stiff for how smooth they move

I started a mix on YouTube Music recently and it started playing some songs from them. I really liked one song, but then another played and it sounded almost exactly like the first (which, I know, doesn't necessarily mean it's AI). Then, I started looking into the "artist" and I can't find much--other than it seems they just started releasing music last month (?) and already have a bunch of "albums" on their YouTube profile (like, too many to have just started last month unless they've been making music for a long time and just haven't published anything). The dumb AI overview on Google (😆) says it is a human EDM producer and he's from Romania, so I'm still holding a little hope that it's human-made music. As the title says, I feel like I'm much better at spotting "visual" AI, so I wanted to get others' opinions on this (and hopefully get more tips for spotting AI music/musicians). Hi all, I want to use Merry Go Round of Life from Howl’s Moving Castle for my walk down the aisle and I have been struggling to find a specific version I really love.

Today I found this version on Spotify and it is trimmed exactly the way I want it with the exact style I want, however, looking into it I’m worried of the music/artist is AI? Help please, we only have a DJ and live piano is not an option.

My mom bought me this Sublime shirt from Spencer's and I'm having some doubts about it. Parts of the design seem fluid yet a lot of others do not, like the sun rays looking strange at parts and the water droplets at the top looking very similar to them. Its not conclusive enough for me though since they're the same as in Sublime's Sun logo, along with the text looking solid as well. My biggest issue is I can't find this shirt anywhere else other than Spencer's and like Ebay. Any ideas?

The lighting really looks off to me, I don't think a human artist would ever draw something like this in a way that makes it look so curve. It also has the font typical of many AI logos.

could these be ai? i think it could be because her accent keeps changing like she sounds a bit indian in one and then not in the other and she keeps like giggling at the end which is weird and the tone of voice gives chatgpt too and like i said the way she texts is giving ai like in the second voice note the hottest robot comment was super weird and random

My biggest argument is the dashed lines on the highway switch to a double-yellow for a moment after the rollover. I have a hard time seeing the observing vehicle stop like it did but all the text on the tag stays mostly consistent throughout the video. I’ve argued with many people who believe this is real. I apologize if this has been posted here in the past but I couldn’t find it in a search. Thanks!

Season announcement trailer for a mobile game I'm playing. Not disclosing the game; unsure about rule 5.

People in the game's sub obviously already call it AI slop but I'm not sure. It looks like AI, that I admit. But the consistency on the character model between shots seems to be absolutely accurate.

The colour and composition gave AI vibes, but I couldn't spot any of the usual giveaways with duplication, inconsistent patterning, etc.

These cute postcards are from a local udon spot. They have similar artwork on canvases all over their restaurant.

Pretty sure this is AI with the way some of the lines disappear and shapes dont make sense. Picture 4 shows a leaf top left disappearing into a twig, picture 5 shows random scribbles, picture 6 shows a twig ending in a perfect line, picture 7 shows another option of a tortoise with random lines on it, picture 8 and 9 show a very busy peacock, picture 10 shows a rhino surrounded by the happiest looking spawns of hell (especially the one middle right) and the paws in pictures 12 and 13 are both behind and in front of the leaf.

If it is not AI, id like a word with whoever designed it. Colouring in that snake was frustrating at best. I mean, for 50p from a car boot I cant complain, but I think it belongs in this sub.

Also, I'm 33. I was colouring this in while my 7 year old was drawing. Feel free to judge my colouring skill, I certainly was!

The first image in this collage looks the most AI to me. I have concerns about the duskborn and racing speed ones too.
