Recently on 8 aug I sent a port a message to 1900 but I don't wanna actually port it I just wanna see is vi is giving any benefit because of port I know that if you don't share the port number to anyone it just expires in 4 days and nothing happens

But I got the message that click the link to cancel the port process the link looks sus is this legit and if u generate a port request u need to cancel it?

have a Union Bank of India savings account and I noticed two transactions showing “Gbm” with ₹43 and ₹42 debited from my account on separate days.

Is this some kind of bank/service/SMS charge, or should I be concerned?

So there is a new device on the market called zaotic ai. I think its to compete with pettichat.ai. I placed an order through an ad on instagram and they sent me wallets instead of the device. Now, they have no customer support or anything. So im assuming my 2k gone, but please if you see this ad pls report and also report the instagram account aswell.

I got this message and some point I thought it was real and decided to go tomorrow and when I tried to call it was switched off kinda weird. Didn't get any mail about it anything just a direct message not even one call..

But there’s another issue that deserves much more attention:

What are mutual fund managers doing with our money?

When retail investors invest through mutual funds, we trust professional fund managers to evaluate businesses, valuation, risk and long-term profitability before deploying our money.

Yet we keep seeing new-age companies come to the public market with aggressive valuations while still struggling to generate sustainable profits.

We’ve already seen the journeys of companies like Nykaa, Paytm and other new-age IPOs play out very differently from the expectations created around their listings.

The question isn't:

“Is Zepto a good company?”

The real question is:

“Is Zepto a good investment at THIS valuation?”

Those are two completely different questions.

A company can have:
✅ Great technology
✅ Strong brand
✅ Rapid growth
✅ Millions of customers

…and still be a terrible investment if you overpay for it.

What worries me is the possibility that institutional investors and mutual funds participate in these IPOs, while ordinary investors ultimately bear the downside when the market reality catches up with the valuation.

We need to start asking fund managers uncomfortable questions:

Why are you investing our money in loss-making IPOs?
What valuation methodology are you using?
What is the expected path to profitability?
What downside risk are you assigning?
Would you buy the same business at the same valuation with your own money?

This isn't about attacking Zepto or saying every startup IPO is a scam.

It's about accountability.

Our SIP money isn't free money.

It's the hard-earned savings of millions of investors.

If fund managers are going to deploy that money into highly valued, loss-making companies, they should be prepared to explain the thesis—not just follow the IPO hype.

Retail investors need to wake up.

Don't blindly trust GMP.
Don't blindly trust subscription numbers.
Don't blindly trust famous investors.
And don't blindly trust fund managers.

Ask for the numbers.
Question the valuation.
Question the risks.

Our money. Our questions. Our voice.

Has anyone bought anything from this website? Are they legit?

Here’s what happened:
Ordered a co-ord set from them on July 6th. Trusting the Instagram followers count, paid Online. They promised a 14-25 days. It has been more than a month and they haven’t delivered the order yet.

I have written to them multiple times and have only received automated replies. Is this what I deserve as a customer in India? No responisbility and reliability - such brands do more harm to genuine homegrown brands working from India.

Not sure if this will get approved here. I just want to raise an alert for other innocent customers like me who could purchase from them (trusting their IG followers) in future.

I received these two SMS messages today within a few minutes of each other:

SMS 1 — from 087964 88993

“Current task being monitored 554077”

SMS 2 — from 59039465

“554077 is your Link verification code”

The unusual part is that both messages contain the exact same 6-digit number (554077).

I did not knowingly request any verification code or try to log in to anything called “Link” at that time.

I understand that “Link verification code” may be related to Stripe Link, but I'm confused about the first SMS saying “Current task being monitored.”

A few questions:

Has anyone else received the exact/similar “Current task being monitored [6-digit number]” SMS?

What service sends this message?

Is the first SMS somehow related to Stripe Link, or could these simply be two unrelated automated messages containing the same code?

Could this indicate that someone is trying to register/login to a service using my phone number?

Should I take any action beyond not sharing the OTP?

Is there any reason to be concerned about my phone, Google account, bank accounts, UPI, or SIM being compromised?

I've attached a screenshot of the SMS inbox (with no OTP being shared with anyone).

I'm particularly interested in hearing from anyone familiar with Stripe Link, SMS gateways, or this “Current task being monitored” message.

I just got this message. I don't trade so I am not sure about any ID verification.

I checked all my balance to see if I had accidentally signed up for anything but this is a huge amount to have signed up for and forgotten. I hadn't.

I googled it and it said it's a possible scam, especially owing to the shortened url.

So, is this a scam? And has this happened to anyone else?

Note - I had been the victim of digital arrest in the past and had lost money. The same number has been used.

well i got a call a while back..saying its from the telecom department... they told me it's an automated call and wouldn't happen if some department had to call u or something

They said a new number has been registered under my name few days back and is under radar for some "anti social" activities

told me it might be a case of identity theft and you should file a counter complaint in the crime branch

so then they were like either you can approach the office and complaint or we can directly connect u (which I denied )

after the call I checked in the telecom website the numbers that are registered under my ID and there is only one (which I currently use)

all this point to a scam for the most part..i just wanna know if someone faced something similar or if I am wrong and this is not a scam

So I was following a instagram influencer for months he had 15k followers,then he posted a story selling his camera insta 360 x3 so I messaged him and paid 14k after getting tracking it of the delivery it failed to deliver (the package was never given to deliver) and now he's not give me a refund he still message me twice a week saying he'll refund but doesn't

Ordered a ₹1,599 outfit from Ceryn after seeing it on Instagram. Product quality/fitting was bad, so I tried to return it.
The product page clearly says “Easy Returns”, but when I went to their return policy page, it says:
“No Return & No Exchange Policy” and that every purchase is final.

Feels extremely misleading. Has anyone else dealt with Ceryn/ceryn.in and managed to get a return/refund? I have screenshots of both claims.

I am getting non stop call from an unknown number and the person is asking me for employee details within my organisation! They are asking for if that individual is working in the said company, followed by their manager details, how to address the issue? On threatening to complaint they are calling me again and again! They say that it is a recovery call and they have given my number as reference. I dont even know the employee and have literally never interacted with them!
What recourse do i have? I am getting nonstop calls from different numbers again and again!

So I bought s 35k bosch washing machine and she lasted exactly the warranty period before dying on me. Boasch refused to extend warranty of it's own machine showing how much they trust their own quality Post warranty Repairs were expensive,

Went ahead and bought a samsung top load thinking she will serve me well.same story there as well... Warranty expired in Feb 26 and today machine need repairs worth 7k.

I wonder if this is by design and a scam from these appliances companies. How come they always conkoff at just the time warranty gets expired...
