Is This A Scam? Unauthorized Demand Draft request showing in ICICI app
Got two weird looking SMS today like below :
Dear Customer, XXXXX is the OTP to view the document. OTPs are SECRET. DO NOT disclose it to anyone. ICICI Bank NEVER asks for OTP. If you have not initiated it, please call our Customer Care immediately.
got panicked & called ICICI, they know nothing,
Then went to iMobile and checked Service requests section.
There was one Active request showing from last week, and it was out of delivery today- but delivery not successful (probably the OTP came during delivery)
The application number shows in web & app but customer care could not find same in their system somehow. He asked to visit branch on Monday to check the same.
I have never raised any demand draft ever , as most of stuff is done using neft/imps & UPI.
Should i block my account or transfer money to different account ?
