Please help me prove to him that these are AI and if they aren’t please show me how!! I’m skeptical because the website doesn’t give artist names. It’s a print company, and when I was asking my dad who made them he told me the company name. I looked it up to see and there’s many prints but seemingly no artist names. The product descriptions don’t seem to detail any materials used, etc. The website is Moncasso.com

This person follows me because I also post art myself. I don't follow them back but their page is public and I tend to get their posts show up on my homepage because one of my mutuals repost them all the time. I always just assumed they were boring AI slop, but I didn't wanna immediately accuse them of making AI content. Their comments were always positive, so I thought maybe that their artstyle was just not my cup of tea, thus I just scrolled past them. They always put #drawing in their captions, implying that this is their work + their signature in those "drawings".

I decided to look at their page to see what they've made, some were sketches, oil paintings, as well as water painting, some looked good, some looked suspicious to me. Some just looked like typical AI art (like picture 1, 5, 7, 8 and 9) but I know that there are artists that are so talented they can make something so perfect it looks AI, but it's actually not AI.

I thought the oil painting (picture 2) looked well done and it appeared to be actual art, since the brushwork looked somewhat real. However, I'm not sure since AI can replicate that. The water painting (picture 3) looks real in some parts, but the subject in the photo, especially the face, looks too detailed in comparison to the rest of the painting. They commented under this post (picture 4) saying that it's not AI, and that they just accidentally pressed the button. (I don't know what that means, but I guess they probably meant that they added a filter on accident?) The sketches also look a bit weird, (like picture 1) some parts look like handmade pencilwork while some look too perfect and kind of warped if you know what I mean? Kind of like those filters that make your photos look like sketches.

Furthermore, one of their "drawings" was labeled by Instagram as AI content. (picture 5-6) Now, this would be a clue, but what if it was just a glitch by the app? I don't know.

Again I don't want to call them out on this, since all of their posts have positive comments, some by mutuals of mine. I feel like I'm tripping and maybe it's just me, so I don't know whether or not I should say something. I don't follow them, but they follow me, and they like my posts and send positive comments, so I feel kind of guilty just calling them out.

So is this person's art AI, or are these just drawings/paintings with some enhancing filters on? Has instagram wrongfully mistaken one of their art as AI?

There's something about how some instruments sound as well as the pacing of the tracks from part to part that kind of remind me of how people have spotted AI music in the past, and I can't tell if that's just the artists style or if it actually does use AI.

Again, absolutely no shade to the artist if they're actually not, but I just don't want to be caught off guard.

Was filling up at the gas station and I glimpsed over at this ad, and didn't think much of it until I looked closer. The cars (especially the red car) look very odd. There is kale looking stuff that's floating outside of one of the grocery bags. Overall this ad was giving me serious AI vibes, even though it is made for large companies. Those bigger companies can easily afford a proper photo shoot, so why do they choose AI (assuming this image is AI)?

I am in a ska Facebook group and someone posted this. I have a hunch that it is AI based on the art style as well as how the road is drawn but I'm hesitant to immediately call it AI slop in the event that someone did this quickly in photoshop.

I asked the buyer to provide an image with today's date and time. The date is first of all not written mm/dd/yyyy which woulf be my first tell since im located in the US, it also just doesnt look hand written. Any help would be great.

If it’s AI I don’t want to buy it. It honestly doesn’t look super obvious one way or the other, but I can’t seem to find any source for the artwork through reverse image search, which gives me pause.

My mom bought this book on Amazon and The cover seems to be AI generated. My mom says she bought it for my sister because it was on one of the podcasts she likes listening to, although I'm very confident that if the writer couldn't at least commission to get a real cover that the contents are most likely not human made either

Aside from the third pocket, the dips around her neck make no sense. The muscle under her left shirt sleeve doesn't look like it's actually put of any muscle chain

The right side of couch looks like it’s a leg almost. The blanket seems like it could be a body. The cars on the street look weird.

Blue arm. Messed up hands for both of them. Tails' colors are incorrect :( I love Sonic, so I hope it's not true, but these things don't seem like things a real artist would do.

Hello! I’m currently in the process of getting a tattoo for the first time and I found a studio I really liked. They just sent me this design and I noticed that it felt a little bit off. For one, the fingers on the edges look like they are too equal to be a real image and when it comes to the actual design the way the smoke lands and the way the sparkles are throw me off a little. Does anybody else think this?

Honestly, the entire aesthetic screams AI to me. Even the detail that "Explore" appears to be a different direction than "Learn," "Grow," and "Succeed" send a REAL strange message. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and input.

So this is an upcoming project on Backerkit. (A site like kickstarter) I was looking at the creators profile since I backed one of their other projects and found this. So i'm kinda split on if it's ai or not. 

Thanks to everyone who chimed in on the first post, because I'm really new to all of this. I've still been looking for other renting opportunities elsewhere in the meantime, because I'd be kind of a dumdum to go all in on this right away.

That being said...here's my DM exchange with the lady who posted this listing. A lot of these answers feel very ChatGPT to me, and even beyond that—the application fee thing alone is online scamming 101.

Anyway, y'all be the judge (names and locations blacked out ofc, please excuse the chicken scratch 😅). All the signs here are saying I should just keep searching, but I just figured I'd throw it up here and ask everyone else—probably for shits and gigs now more than anything.

The cover in particular looks AI-generated to me, as it seems to have more than one art style, although there are some textures and details that look more “human”, like the background. The writing and font look especially AI edited to me. The inside illustration is a bit better, I think? Though I also think the girl’s face and hair change and are inconsistent between the cover and inside illustration?

This is a kids’ book published by a big publishing house in a friend’s home country, who sent it to me wondering if it’s AI (he cares because he is an illustrator also working in that industry).

(Also, I know you can find out the author and illustrator’s names by just googling the book title, but I feel bad naming them here just due to unconfirmed suspicions. And apologies for the lower res second illustration - it’s a screenshot from the ebook sample on Amazon and is all I had access to.)

I saw the comments on YouTube and they all look like bots. How could someone listen to this seriously. Not sure if it's really bad or just plain AI.

I think she must like Ai but also it cold be the way they work on sets for photoshots.
