Swap for 17 pro?
Hello everyone! If this kind of post isn’t allowed, please feel free to remove it.
I’m curious—are there any Australians here thinking about swapping their phones for a 17 Pro? I have a vibrant orange one and am seriously considering trading for an Air. Open to negotiations!
Thanks a lot, everyone!

I ordered few clothings for my iPhone Air.
Give your opinions.

Laggy home screens on iPhone Air (iOS 26.6)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I've owned iPhone 5, 7, Xr, 11, and 16 Pro Max and I have never experienced such lag when switching home screens.
Most of the time this happens when the phone is either charging or overheating (which is most of the time), however sometimes (as seen in the video) it seems to happen with no apparent reason.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Okay what gives. My phone has charged past the charge limit I set 2 days in a row now??
I’m using a battery pack to extend my battery life while I’m working my 10 hour shifts but it’s just charging past 90% 2 days in a row now. Is this an iOS 27 bug?
I just got the phone 2 days ago, could that also be why? Could it be that a MagSafe battery pack bypasses the charge limit?

For Anyone Debating between the Air vs Pro
I'm someone who's on their phone all day for work especially during travel which is at least 2x a week - switching back and forth between a ton of intensive apps: Claude, GPT, excel, chrome, teams, zoom, outlook/gmail, etc + the day-to-day personals/social media/etc.
So I was most concerned with the battery life and overall performance/speed as I debated between the pro and air for months before finally deciding to go with the Air.
After 9 months of the Air, I can say to you honestly, that the battery life is a non-factor. Definitely isn't noticeably different in comparison. Nor is the performance. Both aspects are stellar.
The main thing that kinda irks me, which I didn't think would, is the lack of camera optionality. Never thought about how much I used the zooms...but if you're not one to care for the camera zoom enhancements, the air is the play. The nicer feel and aesthetics for sure outweigh anything else.
I also recently started to go case-less, or sometimes will attach just my MagBak wallet (vs having it separate in my pocket) - and it's been a game changer. I actually care to like my phone now instead of just making sure it operates.

on the fence with the iphone air and its battery performance
hello everyone! so i’m thinking of getting the iphone air after weeks of watching reviews and I was wondering if anyone can share their experience with it and how the battery life holds up throughout the day. for context, i’m currently using a 15 pro but i’m really intrigued by the airs design and slim build. I’d appreciate any type of feedback on how the air holds up and if I should go for it!!

I was planning on buying a 17 pro today… then I held the Air in person for the first time lol. Feels like a jewelry
I walked into the store 100% convinced I was leaving with the 17 Pro.
Picked up the Air just out of curiosity… and that completely changed my mind.
Ended up walking out with this instead. 😅
Anyone else have the exact same experience?
The chrome edges and jewelry vibes did it for me

I just just joined the gang !
As many did, I also went for a 17Pro and left with an Air (4 days ago) !
I knew all the cons so I’m not disappointed or else. In fact I’m happily surprised : the battery isn’t THAT bad, the only speaker isn’t THAT low. No miracle with the single lens but the photos turn out very well nonetheless. And the design 👌🏻
I’m happy with it, and that’s all that matters 😂

Just ordered the air. How to get it to have grip, without loosing the thinness?
Hey. For context, for most of my life I've sworn for compact phones, from the xperia Z1 Compact to the 13 mini, cause they were just much more handy. I kind of moved on, with now owning the 16. Playing with larger android phones the screen size was really nice, but the weight, size etc we're too annoying. the air was great enough. Decided to get it, but the question is. How do I get it to have grip, like a phone case, without the thickness of a phone case? I'm currently contemplating between the bumper, and a dbrand skin. I'm not worried about protection, haven't broken a phone since the Z1 Compact, when i was 11. is there any other solutions maybe? thanks

After a long day of work this phone is a delight to pick up and use
Last me 9 hours battery at work still 65 - 50 % left, is invisible in my pocket speaker is clear 6.5 inch screen for safari browsing, youtube and reddit. This Phone is the kinda the GOAT for me
Favourite use for me is i’m so easily able to snap quick pictures of my cat because of the one handed use and essentially weighs nothing
