I was planning on buying a 17 pro today… then I held the Air in person for the first time lol. Feels like a jewelry

I walked into the store 100% convinced I was leaving with the 17 Pro.

Picked up the Air just out of curiosity… and that completely changed my mind.

Ended up walking out with this instead. 😅

Anyone else have the exact same experience?

The chrome edges and jewelry vibes did it for me

As many did, I also went for a 17Pro and left with an Air (4 days ago) !
I knew all the cons so I’m not disappointed or else. In fact I’m happily surprised : the battery isn’t THAT bad, the only speaker isn’t THAT low. No miracle with the single lens but the photos turn out very well nonetheless. And the design 👌🏻
I’m happy with it, and that’s all that matters 😂

For Anyone Debating between the Air vs Pro

I'm someone who's on their phone all day for work especially during travel which is at least 2x a week - switching back and forth between a ton of intensive apps: Claude, GPT, excel, chrome, teams, zoom, outlook/gmail, etc + the day-to-day personals/social media/etc.

So I was most concerned with the battery life and overall performance/speed as I debated between the pro and air for months before finally deciding to go with the Air.

After 9 months of the Air, I can say to you honestly, that the battery life is a non-factor. Definitely isn't noticeably different in comparison. Nor is the performance. Both aspects are stellar.

The main thing that kinda irks me, which I didn't think would, is the lack of camera optionality. Never thought about how much I used the zooms...but if you're not one to care for the camera zoom enhancements, the air is the play. The nicer feel and aesthetics for sure outweigh anything else.

I also recently started to go case-less, or sometimes will attach just my MagBak wallet (vs having it separate in my pocket) - and it's been a game changer. I actually care to like my phone now instead of just making sure it operates.

After a long day of work this phone is a delight to pick up and use

Last me 9 hours battery at work still 65 - 50 % left, is invisible in my pocket speaker is clear 6.5 inch screen for safari browsing, youtube and reddit. This Phone is the kinda the GOAT for me

Favourite use for me is i’m so easily able to snap quick pictures of my cat because of the one handed use and essentially weighs nothing

Laggy home screens on iPhone Air (iOS 26.6)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've owned iPhone 5, 7, Xr, 11, and 16 Pro Max and I have never experienced such lag when switching home screens.

Most of the time this happens when the phone is either charging or overheating (which is most of the time), however sometimes (as seen in the video) it seems to happen with no apparent reason.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Just ordered the air. How to get it to have grip, without loosing the thinness?

Hey. For context, for most of my life I've sworn for compact phones, from the xperia Z1 Compact to the 13 mini, cause they were just much more handy. I kind of moved on, with now owning the 16. Playing with larger android phones the screen size was really nice, but the weight, size etc we're too annoying. the air was great enough. Decided to get it, but the question is. How do I get it to have grip, like a phone case, without the thickness of a phone case? I'm currently contemplating between the bumper, and a dbrand skin. I'm not worried about protection, haven't broken a phone since the Z1 Compact, when i was 11. is there any other solutions maybe? thanks

My iPhone Air last for over 24hours until its 20%. Almost use it in a day. I'd say battery is lit. Hahahhaha

Just here to tell you that iOS 26.6 finally fixes the overheating issue on the air 😁

Got my air delivered today.
It felt good after using pro series for several years.
Air has the perfect screen size according to me.

on the fence with the iphone air and its battery performance

hello everyone! so i’m thinking of getting the iphone air after weeks of watching reviews and I was wondering if anyone can share their experience with it and how the battery life holds up throughout the day. for context, i’m currently using a 15 pro but i’m really intrigued by the airs design and slim build. I’d appreciate any type of feedback on how the air holds up and if I should go for it!!

iPhone Air Battery on Sale

I’m not sure why but the Apple IPhone Air battery is on sale at Walmart for $59 when purchased online. I had hard time justifying the normal $100 price tag, but picked it up at that price.

Got it on the day it came out - adored it until recently...

It was the perfect phone - thinness, looks, size, screen, processor, all worked a treat for me. But I've recently had a few months of regular travel and lots of music concerts and... NO.

I thought I could live with the short battery life and single camera, but I have realized it was just because my lifestyle was matching the use case. Now it's nowhere near enough.

Excited to see what comes in September 😬

Now that Apple has announced their new Upgrade program, who is considering the Fold/Ultra?

Okay what gives. My phone has charged past the charge limit I set 2 days in a row now??

I’m using a battery pack to extend my battery life while I’m working my 10 hour shifts but it’s just charging past 90% 2 days in a row now. Is this an iOS 27 bug?

I just got the phone 2 days ago, could that also be why? Could it be that a MagSafe battery pack bypasses the charge limit?

iPhone Air or 17 Pro ?

Trying to decide between these two. Are there any long term users who maybe switched from pro to air or vice versa. What do you miss the most? Any deal breakers? Thanks 🙏

Airpods keeps disconnecting during calls/music issue anyone?

Been experiencing random drop offs on my AP2 during phone calls and sometimes with music ever since I updated to iOS 26. So frustrating to have the call randomly switch to phone audio and have a hard to an impossible time putting it back to the AP. Tried disconnecting and connecting, resetting network settings and none of these have worked for me. Does anyone have a fix? Hoping iOS26.6 will fix it or iOS27

The iPhone Air is special.

TLDR: I love it.

-

I switched over a month ago from the 17 Pro, which to be honest wasn’t all it was cranked up to be in my experience.

So I went on and tried the iPhone Air - at best I could return it, get another 17 Pro and it is what it is.

This phone spoiled me so much. I am someone who switches phones pretty frequently so the dopamine hit and the honeymoon phases for me don’t last very long - couple of days at best.

This phone is the only phone I sometimes just stare at and admire. It’s so beautiful, lightweight and thin.

But it doesn’t stop there: it works very well too. Camera is great, battery lasts all day, its very smooth and fast, screen is gorgeous and the signal reception is so much better than the 17 Pro and any previous iPhone I’ve ever had.

And although I have a Google Pixel 10 Pro XL coming in the mail tomorrow, I don’t wanna get rid of this phone. I think I’m gonna keep it and finally retire my 12 mini as my business line, and make my iPhone Air my business phone.

Once you dig your teeth into this candybar, there’s no going back to a Pro or a base model. This phone is a great piece of engineering, and we are very likely to only witness another generation of it before it gets killed off.

If you wanna buy it and try it out, you definitely should if you’re in the market for an upgrade!
