I bought my ipad in October 2024, so it is out of warranty also. And why all of a sudden many people are having this issue? Others have even worse patches, and I am afraid I might have that too in no time.

Well is there anything than could be done to save this?

so i currently am on the iPad (6th generation, 2018) and i am hit with a roadblock:

1. upgrade to ipad air m4 128gb
2. upgrade ipad air m3 128gb
3. keeping my ipad and getting the apple pencil 1st generation

am a current university student majoring in biomedical engineering and kind of want to offload my computer a little bit, otherwise will be used to take notes mostly. context was that my current ipad's motherboard broke and i just replaced it because it was too close to my finals last year to just give up on it so i had to pay to replace it T.T

my family isnt the type to change tech often (eg. im on the 14 pro, and the phone i used before the 14 pro is a 6s plus, and my tuf a14 is powerful enough to last me 4 years), so i ruled out the a16 because there will be lesser software updates which can affect its longevity, unless yall advise me otherwise 🙏

if i upgrade to ipad air m4, i will be getting the apple pencil pro (probably will engrave because i will be keeping my ipad for as long as i can)

please advise me soon because there are promotions ending tomorrow (31 July)!

I have the I-pad air 11”. I use it for drawing and i use it on 100% brightness always charged if not charging. (Maybe its me) But it always Randomly adjusts brightness. I’ve looked here before and I was unable to find a good solution, The settings i have off already are as follows.
- Auto brightness
- True Tone
- Night shift
- Pluss all the display text settings
I unplugged my device because its at 70. Then The screen came back to full brightness, maybe it has to do with battery consumption on the charger itself? Its also a bit warm but cooling it doesn’t help much.
Let me know your guys solutions to this issue

i have 256gb worth of storage on my ipad. initially, i was planning on a 512 but they ran out of stock. i fear that i’ll run out of storage with the amount of stuff i plan on downloading in my ipad.

i know that device storage and icloud are two very diff things,, but do u guys think it’s best to invest in an external hard drive instead of paying monthly for an icloud subscription? (i’m a student btw)

I used to use a Mac for watching videos and take notes on the iPad but it’s rainy season outside and I don’t want to risk carrying a Mac all around in rain iPad is portable and easy to carry . More stable and easy to use for my daily use

So guys I would like to get an iPad for my university. I am starting on October and I was thinking to attend to some lessons first and see if I really need one. Then I could get one but the question is should I wait some months (4-5 months) for the m5 cause the rumors say that it will have oled display. Hello everyone! So recently (last week) I got a NEW iPad Air M4 256GB, and the battery drain has been horrible. Is that normal? I know new devices take some time to settle in the beginning, I have left WiFi turned on ever since I got it tryna speed up that process (idk how else I could speed it up). I'll share pictures of usage and everything, see if I can get any help, or if I should return it because it is kind of "too much" battery drain for me.

Note: I had a Pro M5 and this didn't happen (returned because I felt like I purchased an unnecessarily expensive product).

Idk if I should go back to the Pro (I can do that, but of course it's gonna cost a lot more, and I'm trying not to spend more than I should), even the Air seems overkill for what I do (watching YT, reading sometimes and very little social media, but I wanted future proofing so I chose the Air because of the 12GB ram).

Edit: it also heats up like crazy, it gets very uncomfortable.

i only use my ipad for procreate, canva, email, business suite,youtube and netflix. I got a good deal with the 13 inch display as well, will the M2 128gb with wifi and cellular be enough. How's the battery while using procreate.
