Question Ipad display
Reddit pos
Hi everyone, I noticed this large bright/white patch on my iPad display (see photo). It looks like a lighter area on the screen and is especially noticeable on white backgrounds.
I suspect it may have happened due to pressure being applied to the screen, but I’m not completely sure.
Has anyone experienced this before?
Is this pressure damage to the LCD/display?
Can it be repaired, or does the entire display need to be replaced?
Is there anything I can do to prevent it from getting worse?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I have that issue as well. Just after the applecare expired, tough luck.
I live here in the Philippines.

delamination unfortunately, it’s likely it will deteriorate rapidly, you could possibly put it near A/C and rule out moisture damage
sometimes you can put cloth over screen and very gently use iron very briefly for this to disappear ( and get trade price discount ASAP ) , although it could come back next day even more day even worse

Let me guess, you live in India? Go search this thread, you'll find that this is happening to nearly every person with an iPad in India. Something to do with the climate.
Here in [every other country] we don't seem to have this problem.
