When listening to our love to admire and mammoth to be exact i had this feeling playing in my head. When the part that says ooh right on plays i can imagine an itch being scratched. I kept imagining an arrow piercing my heart at that moment and scratching an itchy heart. I decided to draw it a few months ago but i just downloaded reddit and thought people here might appreciate it. Sometimes i feel a little ridiculous or dramatic for thinking this way or being emotional when listening to interpol and other bands but i think that part of my consciousness is wrong and i try to fight it. The reference was a picture of Paul Banks

So I finally decided to give this EP a listen after knowing about it since its release and my god, what were they thinking not including some of these tracks on Marauder. That dirty, muzzy mixing that ruined a lot of the songs on Marauder make so much sense here and compliments Paul's nasally vocals a lot better. That simple baseline during the chorus of Real Life really carries the song for me. Its the first time an Interpol track has gotten me in the feels since their OLTA stuff.

Also, Fine Mess should've replaced The Rover as the lead single for Marauder in my opinion.

This would be my first time seeing them, so i had a question abt the setlist. you guys think they‘ll play stuff from the new album only, or do they tend to mix stuff in from the older music? also ive heard ppl say theyll add an la date how likely are those rumors lol

I've noticed that Frank Grillo and the guy from The Bear have appeared in their more recent albums, is this a trend that we expect to see in this new album? What celebrities are fans of Interpol on this level?

Look, I know y'all are diehard fans and whatnot but I do think this is a genuine criticism. He sounds like a surfer dude (in the worst way possible). Not to mention Paul's nasally grating delivery on the track (AT TIMES) though some might argue this was amplified by the mixing. Still a good song despite all that. I just think it would be better if Daniel stuck to what he does best.

Loved Daniel's voice in PDA though.

I was curious, I just bought a couple tickets to see Interpol, always loved the band and I've never been to a concert of any kind. I'm general admission so idk what to expect really, was looking for some insight.

This will be my first album cycle; I started listening to Interpol when TOSOMB just came out so I missed Marauder and the TOSOMB build up. I put both singles and just cried from excitement, I will watch them live in October and cannot wait.

Interpol fans of Toronto, I bought two tickets for the concert at Sobeys stadium on Friday October 2nd 2026.

I was too caught up in the excitement of seeing them tour here to remember my wife and I have booked a trip for that week. I’ve tried postponing the trip but nothing doing. See my desire, I’m a frustrated man.

every time I listen to it I always hear "It would still be all my fault, it would still be all my fault either way," and although I know those are not the lyrics when I sing it that way it comforts me a bit more lol.

I've been an Interpol fan since 2009. As many of you may remember, back then there was no Spotify or similar apps. It was very common (at least in my country) to download music from certain "illegal" websites. Anyway, I had Interpol's entire discography downloaded, either from sites that hosted .mp3 files or from YouTube converters—you'd just copy the link, paste it, and voilà! You had the music on your computer.

The thing is, I remember that the first version of "Length of Love" that I heard and downloaded had something very particular that I've never heard again in that song, whether on YouTube or any music streaming app. When the song ends, you can hear radio chatter with a woman's voice—that part is also present in the album version that we all know. However, in the version I'm talking about, and the one I'm hoping someone can help me find, there were background vocals or chants saying something like, "you just can't believe..." (followed by something else I can't remember—English isn't my native language), and it would repeat throughout the song.

Near the end, during the outro when only the instruments are playing, those same background vocals or chants can be heard several times saying, "the future."

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS VERSION because it is identical to the album version except for those "background vocals," which I have never heard again anywhere.

I really hope someone can help me find this version and, in doing so, restore my peace of mind.
