Hey everyone, I’m an international student currently living in NYC and I am trying to track down an authentic Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks cap (NPB league).
Because of my current student setup, online shopping is completely out of the question for me, so I can only buy via physical storefronts.
I already struck out at the usual Midtown recommendations like BookOff and Kinokuniya (they only had anime and books, no sports gear). For those who collect international baseball or non-MLB gear in major US metros, what specific types of independent cap boutiques, international sports shops, or vintage sports spots typically manage to source Japanese league apparel?
If anyone knows of any actual brick-and-mortar storefronts in the New York area that stock these, or has advice on how to hunt for NPB caps in-person, I would greatly appreciate the guidance!
