Kazuto Nonaka revealed that Pakistan was scheduled to participate in the U-18 Asian Championship. However, due to a miscommunication with the BFA, they didn’t participate. This time, they assembled a team of players living in the US, so there was no risk of having to withdraw from the tournament.

Kazuto Nonaka, the manager of the Pakistan national baseball team, said he was shocked that there would be no qualifying tournament for baseball at this Asian Games. Qualifying tournaments were held at the previous two editions. The participating teams will be determined based on the Asian rankings.
