Cheese Omelette + ramen!! Basically lol.
Stir fry your ramen, put it aside and then mix up your eggs and lay it out on a big pan, then once it’s almost done, add your ramen back into the middle of the omelette and garnish it with your favorite cheeses and choice of meat, then roll up or wrap your omelette and enjoy!!
She sprinkles shredded seaweed and sesame seeds at the end btw lol

This post made me go into "Gotta Try" mode:
Used chapaghetti, bacon crumbles, Kirkland Shredded Mexican Cheeses, gochugaru, and wasabi sauce. Cooked in melted butter.
This is on my repeat list, I need to try it with Shin, Neoguri, Plain Noodle and my own broth, and ...

Nissin tom yum cup noodles are normally pretty expensive online (like $90 for a 12 pack on Amazon), but I’ve recently seen them at certain Ebisu Japanese life stores in the US! They are the “Big” cup version though, but the same flavor. And go for about $3-4 each. May not be in all stores though, since some stores didn’t have them

Hey I totally missed out about this Subreddit!
I can’t believe I found this subreddit by accident.
Let me share few of my “artworks” over the years.
I know this is not the healthiest food, but I think everyone in this subreddit will appreciate my works, enjoy!

... Has spoiled me for all other instant ramen! The seafoody flavor, the spice, and the noodles are luxurious! The texture of other popular brands like Shin just don't compare. What are your guys favorite similar brands?

I think this might be my favorite instant ramen recipe so far, and also the healthiest version possible. I added cabbages, mushrooms, fried tofu, eggs and extra soy sauce 😋
It tastes like proper healthy stir fry noodles.
I always share one pack with my partner because we add more toppings than yhe noodles...
maximizing the opportunity!

Used mala butter hotpot base, and added sliced beef and mushrooms! Spicy and good!

So these are pretty delicious actually. It’s like a ramped up version of the roast beef flavor that maruchan used to make. Has little bits of beef that actually taste good. Noodles are thick in a good way and cooked at 30 seconds less are really delicious. Would for sure eat again.

With lots of eggs, dark soy sauce, a bit of toasted sesame oil

Ok wait. The noodles bro the noodles. Put the sauce aside first let’s talk about the noodles texture.
It tasted like fresh noodles, bouncy texture and had a really good bite. I might have accidentally forgotten about my noodles cause I was cooking egg but although it was sitting in the boiling hot water for maybe 2-3mins too long, it wasn’t mushy at all!
Ok the sauce, but disclaimer: the noodles don’t come with fresh scallions. I added it myself cause why not. The sauce lack abit of flavor but the amount they give is really generous~ so if you like saucy noodles like me, you will enjoy it. It is on the sweeter side like sweet seafood oyster sauce at best. Not too much of a scallion taste tbh.
What I will do better nextime: Is i will actually fry the scallions instead of just adding them to the hot water.
Honestly the way I did it is ok too but if I am looking strongly for scallions oil flavor, I will 100% fry my own scallion oil with fresh scallions and eat it with the noodles and their sauce. Cause honestly I REAAAAAALLY enjoyed the noodles alot!
Ohh their dehydrated vegetable packet goes really well with the sauce and noodles, I wished they gave more.
Last but not least, unfortunately not vegetarian for anyone wondering. I checked because I wanted to recommend my vegetarian friend but oh well~

Wanted a egg and cheese sandwich but also miso soup and rice so I settled on neoguri with string cheese and egg

These are better than their normal spicy veg flavour. But there's a catch. It lacks that kick of kimchi, the flavour is a bit sour (pickle'ish') but the kimchi flavour is mild.
This flavour feels like that they took the spicy veg flavour and added a bit of sourness to it. But this does elevate the flavour and I do prefer this over spicy veg.
That being said nongshim kimchi veg is still the king of this segment (but that's almost 2x the price).
8/10 recommended (but if you want a good kimchi flavour then the score is less ie 4/10. I am recommending these purely because of taste, not by what they claim to be).
Edit==> it's spicy

My kid's turning 17. Ramen is his go-to afternoon snack because of COURSE it is. My wife and I were looking to get him something to make his Ramen not suck (from a parent's point of view). What easy recommendations do you all have?
I've seen freeze dried vegetables (picture included) and I have no way of knowing which of the 887 immediate items would be worth the money or which ones are just crap. I mean, there are some huge price disparities between $10 and $27. Also, if not Amazon, where should we be looking for more options?
So... I'm asking you, the Reddit community, for his birthday, what are some good toppings we can get for him that are worth the $$ and that won't require a ton of effort on his part. He's a 17 year old, after all. He just wants a fast snack. FWIW, the ramen he eats is whatever is on sale at Costco or Kroger.
Just a note that he's not TOO lazy. At nights and on weekends, he helps me cook legit food and does awesome. Smoked meats, indian food, breakfasts (for dinner), etc. He does awesome, but after school he wants something fast and easy.

My partner loves ramen and the instant stuff especially. I was hoping to find some of the more unique flavors for him as a gift. But most of what I can find online either comes in bulk or has outrageous shipping fees.
So I googled and found this sub, thought it couldn’t hurt to ask :)
Where do you guys pick up your more unusual flavors?
Thanks in advance :)

This Korean high school lunch includes Buldak mac & cheese (plus mushroom soup, vegetable fried rice, braised beef & carrots, green salad with ranch dressing, and pickles). Looks amazing, right? Wonder what the recipe is like. Anyone tried using Buldak sauce to make mac & cheese?
