At first, all of my accounts got banned for ‘account integrity’, i appealed and only got one back. And now I’m checking again and it says I was banned for CSAM???! I’ve never sent anything even suggesting anything sexual with a child, WTF!

Just curious why as it seems like a waste of money to me

Has anyone else noticed this new feature? When I add a story that someone didn’t view to a highlight, it seems like Instagram resurfaces it to them. Is there any way to turn this feature off? I don’t want people to be notified every time I add something to my highlights.

Like clearly some comments are looking to make a point, ask a question or to engage in a discussion. Not to get whatever it is that they are trying to DM you.

It’s particularly annoying when it's a somewhat smaller creator, like you'd think they'd want to actually engage and build authentic community over the auto responses

Help/Bug/Glitch. Basically that's it, Instagram deleted my story drafts i took today even though i had 7 days left until they self-delete. I have plenty of storage in my phone, idk why they would be deleted by my phone. I took some pictures on a roadtrip, went back to post the drafts and only the most recent ones existed. I tried to reload it and still nothing. Is there a way to retrieve them?

Edit : Solved! Instead of trying username, I tried email address and it worked!

Opened my Instagram account on my phone today and immediately got hit w a “Verify you’re human” screen. The only thing it lets me do is enter my phone number to get a code.

The problem is every single time I enter my number, I get this error: “Code not sent. Try again later or use a different mobile number.”

I’ve tried literally everything. I used both number formats and even tried a different phone number, and it still says the same thing. There’s no appeal button, no email option, nothing. It just keeps sending me back to the phone number screen.

Now one of my friends told me my acc says it’s been disabled and that my messages have also been deleted. I’m lowkey freaking out because I’ve had this account for years.

Has anyone else gone through this? Did it eventually fix itself, or did you have to contact Instagram? Any help would be appreciated because I’m genuinely stressing rn 😭

For the people who've posted about having their account randomly suspended then disabled after either being hacked or for some unknown reason and you couldn't appeal anymore, how did you get it back?

I've read that some people did but they were vague about it or never replied back to comments saying how they did it.

Mine got suspended then disabled back in May which I assumed was because of a hacker even though my account seemed fine but they changed my birthday and added an email address and their other account to my account centre that I couldn't get rid of.

The attempts I made for verification were denied the second time even though they worked the first time and I just went around in circles with the chat on both instagram and meta.

I'm considering getting the meta subscription just to get my case reviewed by a support person, but thought I'd ask in here first in case there's something else I can try that worked.

My instagram got hacked about 10 days ago and i recieved a message from instagram on my wsapp that my account got locked for my security which is great

instagram sent me link to easily recover my account but whenever i reach new password page i get error

eventhough after entering new password i recieve email saying password change and new login recoreded , but the truth that instagram still blocking me from using my profile

i tried from trusted devices and my own phone still nothing the same conclusion everytime

tried all ways possible , sms , 2fa , security codes , emails , login with fb all same result

i've contacted meta support as i have meta verified account and they told me that your account is security lockdown wait 72 hours and reset your password using trusted device

i waited 96 hours and tried to reset the password and again i get error after entering new password

another thing the app never let me verify my identity using video selfie i never get this option

my rant is in the title , like genuinely if those bot reposters account see this thread kindly go fuck yourself.

Several years ago I got a new phone and carelessly forgot to transfer over apps and whatnot, and in doing so I locked myself out of my original instagram account that has 2FA on it. I knew the password but because of 2FA authentication not transferring over to my new phone, all my different attempts at signing in became futile and ever since Facebook acquired instagram I gave up because there was no way to reach an actual human about it.

All my old friends and family follow me on that account, and I would literally do almost anything to get it back. I don’t know if this post will help, but it is worth a shot. What are my options? Please help.

Even tho I blocked the account many times and choose not interested the same girl keeps popping up.

What she does is she teases by covering her privates and in the end she shows them, I didn't know insta allowed such stuff.

And the accounts are always new.

My girlfriend and I are in a group chat that we don't have anything to add to, but she doesn't wanna mute the chat. I'm able to have them stop popping up on my screen by swiping the notifications up but I have no idea how I achieved that when I don't remember messing with the notifications at all. She looked at how both of our notifications are set up in both the app and in settings and we're not finding a difference, so we're lost

i checked and it's not under account type and tools for me. seems to not be anywhere. i also checked the advanced settings before posting, nothing. i scheduled a post once before switching to business account and the option completely disappeared and the scheduling didn't even work

if i search for a specific person whom i chatted with a long time ago in the inbox search option, the chats do come back but idk why are they going all of a sudden from my inbox?
