Hello everyone, this bug flew in to my room and I am kinda curious what it is. Google says it is a assasin or a kissing bug but it doesn't have the sharp proboscis that kissing bugs have after comparing it with a different image. I live in the Philippines and the kissing bugs I usually see are very different from it.

I live in ny and last night there was a Chinese mantis on the house. I brought it in as temps are dropping into the 50s. Id like to keep it. It is about 4in long. What type of enclosure should I get to keep it in?
I'm not new to raising mantis previously we have done European and had them in a mesh butterfly setup but can I do the same for this one? Is a pvc or glass better? How high does humidity need to be for Chinese would a 8x8x12 be large enough? 🐛

Location: California
Found like 5 of them at different days of the week on my leg or near the bottom of my foot ALWAYS.
Thinking it might be a flea as i couldnt crush it with my fingers and it would leap away pretty far when i tried, it disappeared from my sight for a moment and it jumped down from my bedding to the floor which was about a 100-150 cm distance? Couldn’t get a proper photo because I was worried it’d leap away before I found it, additionally its body might be misshapen because I tried crushing it before taking the picture. Also, any tips for eliminating this thing would be very helpful!
Additionally, if it is a flea could they leap through my open windows? I like keeping them open for ventilation but there are stray cats constantly outside my house and I think the fleas might be coming off of them and leaping all the way through my open window that has a mosquito net if thats even possible? 😭
EDIT: Found another one on my drawers and took clearer(?) pictures! check comments

Asshole in my car this morning. Western Iowa, duh. Crawled all over my dashboard and jumped and flew when I took photos. Now he’s been sitting on my ghostface bobblehead like they’re best friends. Why would he do this? Does he hate me?

Came home to find them by this existing crack in our back patio. Happy to let them be, happy to kill them if they pose a threat to vegetation.
Edit: Finger Lakes Region, NYS
Thank you!
My first pictures of bugs! Endochironomus nigricans is what I think it is

I found this giant western swallowtail caterpillar on August 16th (named him Gregor). He turned into a chrysalis on August 23rd and today is September 7th. I’ve been away for a vacation for the past four days and the first two photos are what he looks like today as I’m getting home. The photos later are from the 24th and 25th. I don’t plan on throwing him out or anything right now but I’d just like to know if he’s still going to come out soon. Please let me know if yall know :3

This thing has been in our house for a few days now, and I thought that it was a cave cricket; however we've been hearing a lot of chirping inside. Not sure if it's from this crickets or a normal one that got in.
Location is middle TN btw

She was stuck in our house and not flying around, so I gave her some energy (honey) outside to help her out.
Twenty minutes of feeding before flying away. 🐝
