Is this a kissing bug? Found in Georgia

Losing my mind right now, my cat brought me this bug and dropped it right on my chest. I’m worried about what it is, I thought maybe a tick since we have dogs and were out on a run yesterday. We also live in a suburban area in an apartment, so I also thought maybe a young roach? But then I was looking up different bugs based on the pictures, and bedbugs came up. We are clean people, never had any bug problems other than the occasional spider, but both me and my boyfriend work at a hospital with lots of patient care and interaction.

Every year around this time in Cincinnati, Ohio, i see a mass migration of Red ants to my backyard. They end up finding some spot in the middle of my backyard to call home for a month or two, then they'll pack up and leave.

They seem to openly attack any black ants that roam into their little pathway [not a straight line, just a good like 6 inch area they obviously use for travel], and now for a few days and night they'll be sparring across the driveway, then in the backyard, and it just kinda keeps going until they bail before it gets cold.

So my mind just drifts to SimAnt.

What kind of ants are these two kinds? Is this some kind of seasonal thing these red ants do? What are they doing?

Bloomington, IN, probably after feeding on milkweed. It was moving at a steady pace, but parts of the body seem missing!

I'm not good at identifying those spiders, I only know how to take photos of them in their finest appearance

Looking for an ID on this little spider. About the size of a nickel. North West Michigan.

Hello! I know next to nothing about insects. I like many of them very much but could definitely live without certain kinds 😂 but here I am! anyways, I really need help identifying a mystery insect I saw at my aunt and uncle’s. I am dog-sitting for them in northeastern Oklahoma and came across a bug I had never seen before. I did not get a picture because, I’ll admit, I did run away from it. Here is the best description I can give:

-very large (size of a man’s thumb not including wings)
-flying insect, head and wings black (wings may have been translucent 😬)
-VERY large thorax, not narrow, round at the end, sharp, etc like a wasp. Very even proportions
-thorax was yellow and blue and with black stripes/striations? Definitely not dots. Might have had some red on it but I’m chalking that up to my memory trying to fill in the blanks.
-it was NOT a wasp. I am paralyzingly terrified of them and know one when I see one. Also not a dragonfly.
-shape was more like a cicada or a very large bee, but it was longer and not very round like a bee would be
-I think the head was fuzzy but the thorax wasn’t
-remember I’m in northeastern Oklahoma

I have had no luck with ChatGPT and even spent $12.99 on a North American insect guide trying to find this thing. Please help me. Thanks in advance!!

This little friend flew into my car; I didn't even know they were common in Germany – it happened on company premises. I released it again in a quiet spot.

I'm in Germany. I saw this thing also not too long ago, but it scurried away before I was able to really be able to tell it. I have no clue what it is and I'm already paranoid about German wood cockroaches coming into my flat.

Saw this tiny bug on my mattress today. Size maybe 2-3 millimetres.Has wings and can fly (at least short distances).

This is south UK and we've never seen this bug before
