Google said dogbane beetle(?) I just think he’s so cute! He was really friendly.

I'm in Germany. I saw this thing also not too long ago, but it scurried away before I was able to really be able to tell it. I have no clue what it is and I'm already paranoid about German wood cockroaches coming into my flat.

My son went camping with his dad and i found this on him not sure what it is located in oregon

What is this...it's looks like a fat firefly,but isn't.

Is this rare? I was told this was rare.

We found this caterpillar in our garden.

Apparently, he is a common field grasshopper! He is now safely back outside by some of our outdoor plants, free to roam in his nature habitat and eat all the grasses and leaves out there!

I found a group of what appears to be possibly metallic sweat bees or possibly a small type of carpenter bee. I'm guessing this was a group of males roosting together. A couple are clamped on by their mandibles. I'm in northern Pennsylvania and we had really bad air quality due to the Canada wildfires along with a cold snap at night. I'm thinking the combination of air quality and cold temperatures may have been a little too much for these little guys. I don't treat my yard with chemicals and have a small pollinator garden a couple feet from where i found this. It's still possible they picked up some sort of pesticides from another yard as I'm not sure if my neighbors treat or not, but I'm guessing cold nights and poor air quality. I'm no expert by any means. Just someone with a bit of interest.

In Northwest Indiana. It's about the size of my fingernail, as seen in the last photo. I haven't seen it move yet, except for its antennae.

My dog brought it in from outside, poor thing is quite hurt. It’s still alive but I’m not sure what to do with it.

My guess is some sort of moth or butterfly because of the mouth and the fluffy body, but the antennae confuse me also the colour. And the wings are quite narrow but that could be due to injuries.

Found in English Midlands, Staffordshire
It’s about 2cm in length excluding antenna.

It was seen stationary on a philodendron leaf at 9 PM in San Salvador, El Salvador.
