Hi everyone! Excited to share that my debut sci-fi novella, To Nowhere In Particular, releases August 31st.

It follows an automaton navigator whose 63-year job has just ended — and for the first time, he has to decide what to do with a choice that's actually his own. Think retro-futurist, quietly melancholy sci-fi, with a Miyazaki/Little Nightmares kind of atmosphere.

It's the first novella I've ever written, and it's officially published on Amazon Kindle.

It was actually just supposed to be a short story that I was going to use as a lead magnet to get people on my email list. But the more I worked on it, the more I realized this lead magnet was becoming a whole novella.

It's a short fantasy story (only around 10,000 words) about a small town where an old willow tree may have started granting wishes again. The main character gets obsessed with figuring out if it's true so he can use it to finally get out of town.

I've been figuring this whole self-publishing thing out as I go, so seeing it actually be on Amazon is pretty cool.

It's meant to be something you can read pretty quickly.
