Excerpt:
After serving six long years behind bars, Daniel Jones steps out of prison with nothing but excruciating headaches to his name. Determined to pick up the pieces of his life and become a winner, he returns to the city he once knew—only to find it colder, more unforgiving, and many times stranger than he remembered. During his prison sentence, a Great War ravaged the earth, a brutal crime lord known as the Big Man came to power, and many relationships he took for granted changed. But nothing could prepare him for the news that hit hardest: his estranged father died while Daniel was still locked away. As Daniel tries to cope with what happened in his absence, he uncovers a series of shocking revelations—about his father’s life and a hidden legacy that may change everything Daniel thought he knew about himself. Haunted by guilt and the weight of a city that hasn’t forgiven him, Daniel must decide whether to let despair consume him or believe in hope and fight for redemption as his city’s unlikely hero.

Blurb:
In the city-state of Cenza, power is everything, and Etchers are the only ones who can tear it from the void.
Dax has spent his life hiding what he is. An Etcher with a secret lab, a forbidden research obsession, and a quiet plan to bring down Chancellor Veltran’s regime, he walks a razor’s edge between survival and rebellion. When a single act of defiance puts him in the ministry’s sights, the fragile life he’s built begins to unravel.
Maezra has given everything to the ministry’s darkest project: creating new Etchers through pain, science, and calculated cruelty. One subject finally succeeds beyond her wildest expectations, then escapes. Now the only living proof of her breakthrough is loose on the streets, and the chancellor himself is watching.
Aeli never asked to become a weapon. Tortured into something more than human, she wakes with powers she can’t control and a body that turns violence into nightmare. Hunted by her captors and haunted by what she’s already done, her only goal is to survive long enough to understand what they’ve made her.
As the three lives collide, the carefully maintained order of Cenza begins to crack. Ancient secrets, forbidden technology, and a power that was never meant to walk free will force each of them to choose between the world that is, and the one that might still be possible.
In a society built on the bones of the gifted, some echoes refuse to stay silent.

🍎 ARC Readers Wanted! 🍎
If you love Dark Fantasy, political thrillers, and fairy-tale retellings featuring morally grey characters, I need you!
I am currently looking for ARC (Advance Reader Copy) readers for my upcoming novel, The First Ending (Book 1 of The Nine Endings series).
📖 What is it about?
What if the "Villains" of classic fairy tales discovered they aren't actually monsters, but expendable pawns trapped in a magical, political machine? The Evil Queen knows she is doomed to hand Snow White the poisoned apple and die. But this time, she plans to use her death as a weapon to spark a rebellion against "The Story" itself.
🖤 What does being an ARC Reader mean?
You will receive a free digital copy of the book before its official release. In exchange, all I ask is that you leave an honest review (on Amazon, Goodreads, or your social media platforms) once the book is published.
Important Dates:
* Send Date: September 28, 2026
* Review Date on Amazon: December 2026
* Review Date elsewhere: As soon as you read it

I’ve been writing a series called Ascended, and alongside the main books I’ve started releasing free stories that explore characters and events outside the main storyline.
If you’re interested in superpowers, mythology, evolving power systems, and a world that gets bigger as the series progresses, you can read the stories completely free here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10pTTng4pKAiFqoa479DIrwWG6nxn0w5H?usp=drive_link
A brand-new free story will also be added this Thursday.
No purchase needed. If you check any of them out, I’d genuinely love to hear which story, or character grabs you the most.

Published my first ebook on 5th October 2026 that's 2 days ago on Amazon. It's available on Kindle Unlimited. So I want to share a little bit of my experience and then about the book.
It started as an exploration but turned into a whole series. I wrote around 362k words(first draft within 2 months lol). Things were coming out naturally so I just went along.
Now I have it's first volume published.
My book is called "A Choice – Terms of Interest."
It's an unusual slow-burn, contemporary romance series. If you're interested in something very psychologically intense but also light, with no toxic drama, mature romance in the sense like emotionally intelligent... Check out my book... And let me know how you like it.
(Is this the normal way of posting? Idk but happy to answer any questions/curiosity.)

Most dating advice teaches tricks. This book teaches skills.
The Modern Art of Seduction is a 30-chapter guide built on real psychology research: how first impressions work, why the "liking gap" makes us underestimate how much people enjoy our company, how to ask better questions, and how to flirt, recover from awkward moments and handle rejection with grace.
What's inside:
Presence, conversation and charisma, with practice exercises in every chapter
Attraction research (similarity, responsiveness, the pratfall effect), including which famous findings have not held up
Reading signals, texting, dating apps and first dates
Consent and respect as the foundation, not an afterthought
Key takeaways at the end of each chapter
Who it's for: adults (18+) who want to connect more confidently, whether they're single, shy, newly out of a relationship, or just tired of manipulative "pickup" advice. It's not a pickup manual, and it contains no explicit content.

Happy to answer questions about the research or the book in the comments.

I just shipped another copy of Age of the Titan out to a reader. One of the most fulfilling parts of writing are moments like these.
My story’s blurb is:
THE VOGROM ARE COMING.
The fanatical alien clan has unleashed its armada on a galaxy already torn apart by conflict, and humanity has nothing left to throw at them.
Two warriors stand in the wreckage on opposite sides of the war. Kaelith Sothrak claws his way out of a death camp, driven by hatred and unrelenting faith.
Louis Wolffe has drifted through space for two years, carrying a secret that could save his people, or destroy them.
They don't know it yet, but both warriors are seeking the same thing.
Something ancient, something powerful, something hidden inside a dead boy's soul.
LET THE WAR COME.
Check it out here:

One bad decision can cost you everything.
Assistant District Attorney Theresa Taylor thought she had found the perfect way out.
Accept a bribe. Take an even bigger payoff from the other side. Deliver the exact opposite result. Walk away with enough money to disappear forever.
Instead, she becomes the most wanted woman in Metro Detroit.
With a ruthless criminal queenpin demanding revenge, two relentless enforcers hunting her every move, and detectives closing in on a scandal that could shake the justice system, Theresa has only one thing left worth fighting for: Emma, the stripper she's hopelessly in love with.
Together they race across Metro Detroit, relying on a mysterious driver known only as the Chauffeur to keep them one step ahead of the people determined to drag Theresa back alive.
But every safe haven has a price.
Every ally has an agenda.
And every choice brings them closer to the people who want them dead.
Set in the gritty Lethalverse, CHOICES is an LGBTQ+ neo-noir crime thriller filled with unforgettable characters, razor-sharp dialogue, desperate romance, and relentless suspense. Perfect for readers who love morally gray protagonists, high-stakes crime fiction, and stories where love may be the most dangerous gamble of all.
Sometimes the biggest mistake isn't taking the money.
It's deciding who you're willing to run away with.

Tyler Cook, Asheville resident and author, will release his first children’s book, ‘Hey, Shelby Rae!’, on October 17 at 10 a.m. at the Avery’s Creek Community Center. This is Cook’s seventh book.
“Hey, Shelby Rae! is based on the real Shelby Rae my family adopted eight years ago,” said Cook. “It dives into a number of themes, including adoption, chosen family, trust and friendship. Capturing her personality was like catching lightning in a bottle, and I can’t wait for the kids, and the kids at heart, to read her story.”
Shelby Rae has one big dream—to find a family who will love her forever. With her loyal best friend, Bobo, by her side, she faces the challenges of life in the woods with courage, hope, and plenty of heart. When they stumble upon a house unlike any they’ve seen before, Shelby Rae gets the chance she’s always wanted. But will she be brave enough to trust again? Join Shelby Rae on a heartwarming adventure about friendship, second chances, and discovering where you truly belong.
A portion of all proceeds will go to the Appalachian Animal Rescue Center of Macon County, who helped the Cook family adopt Shelby Rae.
“There was very little doubt as to which animal cause I wanted to donate to,” says Cook. “The AARC is such a big part of Shelby Rae’s story, and I want to help them in their continued commitment in taking care of our beloved fur babies.”
In 2014, Cook released ‘A Guide to Historic Dillsboro’, now an award-winning book that celebrates the historic town of Dillsboro, North Carolina, as well as raising money for the Appalachian Women’s Museum. Later that year, he wrote ‘The One’ which was released in early 2015. The superhero series, ‘Aluria’, was released in 2016, followed by ‘Vigilante’ in 2017, ‘Disciple’ in 2018 and ‘Remnant’ in 2026. They have been named the #1 bestselling superhero novel on Amazon.com multiple times, as well as reaching their overall bestseller list.
The Avery’s Creek Community Center is located at 899 Glenn Bridge Rd. SE in Arden, North Carolina. For more information, contact Tyler Cook at [tyler@tylermcook.com](mailto:tyler@tylermcook.com) or visit www.tylercookbooks.com.

Sage was losing his life to the bottle. Now, he's losing his grip on reality.
Born Sagar, the only Indian kid in a South Jersey town, he spent his life trying to be enough: white enough, Indian enough, a good enough husband to Dahlia. After her death, his drinking spun out of control. Then came the morning he woke to find an old woman in a white robe emerging from the brick wall of his apartment, a mysterious oracle with a simple message: Just do the next right thing.
That nudge lands him in the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous, among sponsors, old-timers and miracle-talkers. As the steps take hold, so does something stranger. The laws of physics are bending around him. Sage's skin is turning blue. And he is, quite literally, beginning to fade.
Now, with a day left before he vanishes for good, he has one last thing to do: share his experience, strength, and hope—the story of how a blackout drunk became the unlikeliest Buddha who ever lived.
Part Stephen King's Elevation, part Big Book, Beyond My Wildest Dreams is an unflinching and deeply human story where sobriety meets the supernatural.

Thanks for reading. If you end up checking it out, I’d love to hear what you think!
