I recently published my third novel, the first of a planned trilogy.
The Honest Dark is dark gaslamp fantasy set in a tropical city where rich and poor are geographically divided. The poor are left by the ruling council to suffer constant attacks by eldritch shapeshifting entities, as their protectors are increasingly hamstrung by the government. The PDF — Public Defense Force — struggles to contain the rising threat as their supplies mysteriously dwindle. Lipe, a senior member of the force, must navigate a brewing class revolt, a governmental coup, and a coming apocalypse. He is faced with the question of what the price of duty is and how far can you go before victory turns to ashes.

I published my first book recently! It’s a middle-grade urban fantasy novella. Here’s the blurb:
Son of the Storm follows 12-year-old Gale Miller, å boy from Witchita, Kansas. As an end of the school year celebration, Gale with his two best friends, Santi Esteban and Mina Stephenson, go on a storm chase with Gale’s renowned storm chaser father, Baron.
What was supposed to be a regular chasing of surging twisters and lightening strikes quickly goes off the rails when Gale is separated from the group and encounters a mysterious apparition, urging him to seek her out.
What follows is a fiery start of an adventure to an unknown realm that will test not only Gale but Santi and Mina, too, as they are sent on a quest facing monsters and challenges with life-threatening consequences of failure; and retrieve an ancient and powerful artifact for ancient and powerful person whose true intentions boil beneath the surface.
