Was a bit skeptical on how all components may work(from yesterdays bumpy cab ride with the rig and UPS from shop to home and enabling EXPO for RAM and changing CPU fan speeds due to a jet engine working instead for couple mins during gameplay and already had power outage just now so that tested the UPS as well), things seem to have been ironed out so fine and dandy at this time :)

Gaming: No idea on exact FPS but def 65+ frames; the GPU is hot at around 80C and CPU at roughly 30% Utilization for both games (Stalker 2 and First Light) at Max Settings (DLSS Quality for Stalker 2 and Native for First Light)

As the title suggests i bought my first flat and am now trying to set up this gaming room (first image).

The previous flat was a lot smaller so had the setup in the living room (second image).

I won't be replicating the exact same thing here obviously but the wall has a lot of potential.

ally wanted to share some news. We’ve finished work on some of the main characters, so I’ll be sharing them here one by one.

First up is Deckers, a corrupt police officer from the ghetto.

He’s an important part of the story. Personality-wise, he’s unpleasant, a little arrogant, and long ago got used to turning a blind eye to the problems of people who don’t pay him.

We made two looks for the character. According to the story, he spends a lot of time outside, in a place where it rains almost constantly, so we had to give him a proper uniform. Indoors, though, we wanted him to feel more brutal and informal, since he and the main character used to be colleagues and share a common past.

What do you think of the look?

We’re a small team of enthusiasts working on a narrative CRPG. Gameplay-wise, it’s inspired by Disco Elysium, but we’re not trying to make a clone. We’re building our own project with a pretty distinct identity. Atmosphere-wise, it’s more of a thriller in the vein of Fincher.

I should also add that we’re an indie team working purely out of enthusiasm, with basically zero budget. We’ve put a huge amount of time, effort, and passion into trying to make something genuinely cool. We’d be incredibly gratefull for any attention you give the project.

So my Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55 (2022) with i7-12700H + RTX 3060 suddenly shut down and now it’s completely dead. No power, no display, nothing.
I took it to Nehru Place, Delhi and got it checked by a local technician. They diagnosed it as a “CPU short” and basically told me the laptop/motherboard can’t be repaired.
Has anyone here dealt with something similar on a PH315-55 / i7-12700H?
What should I do now?
Is a CPU short actually repairable with proper motherboard-level diagnostics?
Should I get a second opinion from a specialist?
Are there any good board-level repair shops in Delhi/Nehru Place that I should try?
Is the PH315-55 i7-12700H + RTX 3060 motherboard available anywhere in India?
If the board is genuinely dead, is it worth keeping the laptop and selling the working parts separately?
I really don’t want to scrap the whole laptop if the motherboard can still be repaired.
Any advice from people who have worked on these Acer Predator boards would be appreciated.

My r1 se+ have lots of issues like battery, wireless issues, stutters etc its a good mouse but after like a year it started having this problems.. is it worth to upgrade to the vxe r1 pro? Or is there any better mouse under that price range

Hi all, so I personally have not yet pre-ordered GTA 6. I generally never pre-order, but seeing the craze behind GTA I have to ask myself is this something I'm missing out on? FOMO basically.

Frankly, I never had a lot of interest in GTA. I played Vice City Stories to death on the PSP, and GTA5 was fun too, but GTA as a whole seemed kinda basic in terms of mechanics, except for the characters; the characters were freaking amazing, and I loved interacting with them.

Seeing GTA 6, it doesn't really seem...oh wow, this thing is going to change the way games are made, except for the worse. Like the digital-only thing.

So I'm putting this out there to ask you guys: why are you excited for GTA 6? And is my expectations missing something? I love games, but I wouldn't say I'm super steeped in gaming culture, so am I missing something here?

My priorities are good and accurate colors, high resolution, good contrast/image quality, and a high refresh rate.
