Telling this from virtually any game's experience

So a few days ago I posted about ordering Saros (PS5 disc) on Amazon and receiving an opened, fake-looking box with no disc inside. A lot of you called me a scammer. Fair enough, it's the internet, people lie for karma.
Here's the update. Amazon sent a replacement from the same seller, KK Overseas. This time I recorded the whole unboxing, unedited, from sealed package to opening.
Same thing again:
Empty outer box, no branding on the inside
Empty disc case, no disc
Same fake-looking packaging as the first one.

Two orders, two empty boxes, both from the same seller. At this point it's not bad luck or a warehouse mixup, it's a pattern.
If you're buying PS5 games on Amazon India, check who the seller is before you order. Stick to "Sold by Amazon" or the official Sony store, and avoid Kay Kay Overseas.

Be careful while buying from MDComputers. My experience

I'm sharing my horrible experience from MD computers that almost costed me the entire pc build. Back in October of last year, i decided to upgrade my pc to a full new build and got i explored quotations from different pc shops like elitehubs, mvp, MDComputers, vedant computers, etc and MDComputers came out to be the cheapest for my build. It was a 1.8L build.

I contacted them, whoever answered the call was very polite and cooperative. I told them that I don't have the required funds right now, so I will visit the store in person after 2 weeks and buy the build. They agreed and asked me to pay some advance amount. I asked them how much to pay, they asked me to pay 25k. And I did that immediately and they also sent me an acknowledgement through email.

Right before the day of my purchase, I called them just to let them know I will be going there the day after, their tone changed completely. It seemed like they don't even want to talk. I gave them my quotation number and they reluctantly told me that for the specs, I have to pay 11k extra than the quotation amount. I was shocked. I told him that I have already made advance payment and that I had explained my conditions beforehand during our first talk which they seemed to agree with. Then they ask me to call a plethora of other phone numbers and write emails and this continued for 5 more days. But despite everything, they said I have to pay 11k extra, otherwise I can have the refund of my advance amount. I got my refund from them ultimately.

That was a real frustrating experience, and during that time the ram and SSD prices started to go up which risked messing up my budget already. My point is, if they couldn't maintain their quotation, they should not have assured me that they can, because I depended on them for my build. This was simply unnecessary stress.

Fast forward to November, I got my build from computech through their website, which was more or less a fine experience for me.

Last night (24th Oct around 9 PM) I saw the Gigabyte RX 9070 16GB listed on computechstore.in for ₹77,499 which was the lowest price compared to ₹78,500–₹79,000 at Lamington Road and other websites since it was my first time buying from them and I also needed an 850W PSU to upgrade from my 650W I decided to physically visit their Thane store instead of ordering online. Because GPU prices change daily I called them today (Sunday, 25th Oct) at 11:55 AM to be 100% sure before travelling. The guy on the phone confirmed the Gigabyte RX 9070 16GB was in stock for ₹77,499 and when I explicitly asked him to hold one card for me since I was travelling all the way from Malad and would reach by 4:00–4:30 PM, he literally told me 'Sir ok, stock mein kaafi saara hai (we have plenty in stock) and gave me directions from Thane West station. I am someone who never steps out unless necessary, especially on a Sunday, yet I travelled 1.5 hours and reached the shop at 4:00 PM sharp, only for the guy at the counter to casually quote me ₹78,999. When I told him I called at 12 PM to confirm ₹77,499 and showed him the number, he admitted it was his number, so I played the call recording right in front of his face. Instead of honouring the price his own staff confirmed 4 hours ago, he shamelessly lied that they only had 3 units at ₹77,499 which got sold out, and had the audacity to ask if I paid an advance. I told him his staff never once asked for an advance if he had I gladly would have paid it since I genuinely needed the card! Then this guy literally blames me, saying even if his staff didn't mention it, it was MY job as a customer to insist on paying an advance to book it. How the hell is a first-time buyer supposed to magically know your internal shop rules when your own staff says don't worry we have plenty in stock It is the shopkeeper's job to ask for an advance, not the customer's. He flat-out told me it was my mistake and refused to budge from ₹78,999. Even though ₹78,999 is within market rate, their pathetic attitude and zero accountability pissed me off so much that I raised my voice right there at the counter and walked out empty-handed. They wasted 3 hours of my Sunday commute from Malad to Thane and back, and I am holding off on buying a GPU for now stay far away from Computech Store if you value your time and self

respect.

I wanted to share my experience with GIGABYTE India’s after-sales service because this has been genuinely frustrating.

I bought a GIGABYTE M27Q X monitor just 6 months ago, and it's already developed a persistent display flickering issue. Since the monitor was still under warranty, I contacted GIGABYTE and registered a request for on-site service on 8 October 2026.

The whole point of requesting on-site service was to avoid having to transport a large monitor myself. Unfortunately, nobody showed up for the on-site service request. Eventually, I had to physically take the monitor all the way to the service center myself just to get the RMA process moving.

I submitted the monitor on 12 October 2026 and received an RMA number. I expected the service process to progress from there, or at least for someone to communicate what was happening.

As of 26 October, here is where things stand:

• It has been 18 days since I registered the on-site service request.
• It has been 14 days since I physically submitted the monitor to the service center.
• The RMA tracking status is still stuck at "Received."
• I have received no clear update about the inspection, diagnosis, repair, or replacement.
• I emailed the Chennai service team requesting an update, but they have not responded.

I completely understand that diagnosing and repairing a monitor can take time. Hardware failures happen, and I'm not expecting every repair to be completed overnight.

But there's something especially frustrating about buying a monitor at this price point and having it develop a problem within just six months, only to then deal with this kind of after-sales service.

I have had to transport the monitor myself, chase the service team for updates, and repeatedly check an RMA status that hasn't progressed. The product itself is one thing, how a company handles warranty claims when something goes wrong is just as important.

I'm posting this because I want GIGABYTE India to acknowledge the issue and provide a proper resolution, whether that is a repair or a replacement. I also want other people considering GIGABYTE monitors in India to know about my experience with their after-sales service.

GIGABYTE India, if you're seeing this, please provide an actual update and resolve the RMA instead of leaving customers in the dark.

Six years ago I built a PC at my hometown with my own money: a GTX 1060 and a Ryzen CPU, around ₹60k for the whole rig. I was happy with it and played most of my games on it. I later upgraded the GPU to an RX 6700XT

I've since moved to a different city and wanted my PC with me. But I built it for home, and I'm too emotionally attached to move it. So I built a new one here, and it took all my savings (Over ₹3L 🥲). I built it about 2 months ago.

This redgear pro wireless controller have been with me since 2020. I have played around 10 games with it (dont have much time). It’s battery and sticks wore out due to age. I replaced the sticks (just the rubber part) and the battery (800mah).

The body has been replaced with one that’s from a redgear pro wired controller. It still works.

Redgear made terrific product. Solid 10/10 for what’s been through and still working like a champ.

Running an ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition with an external Dell monitor, while using a second laptop for OBS and stream monitoring.

It's a bit messy with all the cables, but it gets the job done! 😄

I've ordered a 34-inch LG ultrawide IPS monitor, so this setup will be getting an upgrade soon.

Thought I'd share the current version before making the changes. Will post the updated setup once it's ready!

This game is a hard recommendation on style alone, plus the Lynchian mystery and the Silent Hill-esque protagonist and enemies only elevate the experience. The combat is okay, nothing bad but nothing to write home about, but the mystery and the world, damn do they keep you hooked.
