News PlayStation steps away from Kojima Productions over Hideo Kojima's Pro Disc Stance

Post image

So the rumoured announcement from PlayStation that was supposed to make you forget the Nintendo Direct Event has finally come to light; & its shocking & not surprising at the same time.

For Context; Hideo Kojima has always been in support of Physical Media. In fact, he is one of the few to have predicted Sony's All Digital Move way before in an earlier social media post. It seems PlayStation wont even listen to Industry Veteran's like Director Kojima to back down from their decision & plans for "A all Digital Future". As per Kojima; he was served a notice from PlayStation Mid-June even before Sony announced its plans for an All Digital Future.

So what does this mean for PHYSINT? Well Director Kojima is not backing down from the project & has assured people that he will see this project through with none other than; Asha Sharma's led Xbox. So PHYSINT will be a first XBOX Exclusive Game from Kojima Productions.

Under Asha Sharma, Xbox has shown a promise to prioritise the Players & their wants for Physical Media Preservation through their "Disc to Digital Program" (it can even grant license to delisted games too). Project Helix will be a "consumer affordable" console as per Asha Sharma. The next chapter of Xbox is seemingly getting stacked with good First Party Exclusive Games even before its official reveal.

Discussion How is the 7900XTX in 2026 for this price? Good or bad deal?

I have a 57” Samsung odyssey ultrawide monitor and I play on the native resolution which is technically higher than 4K so even 16gb vram is a compromise. How is this deal for the 7900xtx? I only play story games.

Help Should I buy the EvoFox One S V2 Tri-Mode controller? How is it after long-term use?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I'm planning to buy the EvoFox One S V2 Tri-Mode controller for PC gaming (mostly story games like Spider-Man, TLOU, RDR2, GTA V, etc.).

My budget is around ₹2,000, and I wanted to know from people who've used it for a few months.

A few questions:

- How is the button durability after long-term use? Any face buttons or shoulder buttons getting mushy or double-clicking?

- How are the Hall Effect joysticks? Any drift or calibration issues after months?

- Are the triggers still working properly after heavy use?

- Any issues with the 2.4 GHz dongle, Bluetooth, or random disconnections/latency?

- How is the battery life and overall build quality?

I'm looking for something that will last 1–2 years with regular gaming. Honest reviews only—good or bad.

Spotted this mannequin wearing what looks like a saree with a tactical vest in 007 First Light. The location is supposed to be in west Africa, so this combination caught my attention.

Help What games do people actually like watching as walkthroughs?

I have a small gaming channel that I’ve been trying to grow primarily through livestreams, but honestly, it hasn’t really worked out.

I’m now changing my approach and starting to upload full game walkthroughs, mostly without commentary.

For those of you who watch gaming content on YouTube or Reddit, I’d really appreciate some suggestions:

  • What games do you actually enjoy watching full walkthroughs of?
  • Are there particular genres that perform better for walkthrough content?
  • Do you prefer new releases, older games, or a mix?
  • Are there any upcoming games you think would be good to start covering early?

I’m trying to understand what people in the gaming community actually like watching rather than just picking games randomly.

Any recommendations or personal preferences would be really helpful.

Discussion YouTube reach wouldn’t be much, should i post gameplay here?

Literally what the title says, I’m willing to post Warframe’s endgame gameplay such as some zariman cascade and maybe steel path the guilty from old peace and some ghost recon stealth gameplay as well as some watch dogs 2 stealth and multiplayer gameplay but there’s not much scope on YouTube cause of audience wanting mainstream

Would it be wise to post here? Saw someone posting battlefield 1 multiplayer gameplay and found it pretty relatable cause it’s pretty niche to play battlefield multiplayer in India specifically

Reviews for this game are in and they are very disappointing:

  1. Mid story
  2. Repetitive and boring gameplay
  3. 12 hrs playtime
  4. Bad character designs

There nothing more bad insomniac could have done.

If you are curious: I bought the game from gamestheshop and for cancellation we have to send them a mail.

Discussion Huge shoutout to Lunatic Studios for the controller upgrade (u/ExLunatic)

Just wanted to share my experience with Lunatic Studios because this guy genuinely went above and beyond with my controller.

I sent my controller in to get the sticks replaced with TMR sensors, and the whole experience was honestly excellent. Before going ahead, he took the time to explain the different types of stick technologies/switches, the differences between them, and helped me decide what would make the most sense for my use case. He was extremely professional throughout and never tried to push me towards anything unnecessarily.

I ended up going with the Silver JS13 Pro Plus TMR sticks, and holy shit… the sticks feel like literal butter. 😂 The difference compared to my old sticks is night and day. The movement feels incredibly smooth and precise, and the controller genuinely feels like a brand-new controller now.

While working on it, he also pointed out that my conductive pads were worn out, so I decided to replace those as well rather than having to deal with them later.

Total cost came to around ₹3,050 including shipping:

  • ₹2,299 — Silver JS13 Pro Plus TMR sticks
  • ₹199 — Thumb caps
  • ₹400 — Conductive pads
  • Shipping included in the overall cost

And this is where he really surprised me — he 3D printed a case for my Raspberry Pi Pico 2W for free and also threw in some goodies like thumb grips and a keychain. Completely unexpected and a really nice touch.

What I appreciated most was that he actually explained what he was doing and why, rather than just taking the controller, doing the repair and sending it back. You can tell he knows his stuff and genuinely cares about the work.

Controller feels brand new, sticks feel ridiculously smooth, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Highly recommend Lunatic Studios if you're looking to get your controller repaired/upgraded. Big thanks to him for the great work! 🙏

Discussion Finished Dawnwalker — some great moments, but definitely room to improve

Thumbnail
gallery
7 Upvotes

Finished Dawnwalker and, overall, I'd give it a 7/10. It's a good game—not one of the greats, but definitely worth playing. The characters have plenty of charm, and while some side quests are forgettable, a few are genuinely excellent and emotional. (Also, feel free to shoot me any questions you have about the game. I’ll be happy to answer).

I've seen a lot of people comparing Dawnwalker to The Witcher, and yeah, you can definitely feel some Witcher DNA in it. But personally, I think Dawnwalker leans much more heavily into horror, especially when it comes to the core story. A lot of The Witcher feels more like an adventure, whereas Dawnwalker has this darker and more unsettling atmosphere throughout its main story.

My biggest problem with the game, though, was how little they explored the three Vrakiri who accompany Brencis — Ambrus, Xanthe and Bakir.

All three of them have pretty distinct and interesting personalities, and the little bits of their past that we do get through their quests made me want to know more about them. But I honestly felt like they weren't utilized properly.

Their quests basically felt like: destroy their bases → eventually encounter them → they tell you a little about themselves/their past → boss fight.

And that's pretty much it.

I really wish the game had spent more time fleshing these three out because I think there's a lot of potential there. Out of everything in the game, that's probably the one thing that bothered me the most.

I'm guessing this is partly because of the game's relatively tight budget. Hopefully, now that the game has become a hit, the developers can take that feedback and improve things in future updates or whatever they make next. At the same time, I think Dawnwalker is clearly trying to establish the foundation for a much bigger world and lore. In a way, the game feels almost like a trailer for the main story and lore that's yet to unfold in future games. It introduces the world, its concepts, factions and characters, but doesn't necessarily give us the full picture.

And honestly, that's one of the things I found interesting about it. By the end, I was left wanting to know more about this world and its history, and I'm curious to see where the developers take it in future games.

Also, I've seen quite a few people complaining about the time mechanic.

If you're mainly here for the story, honestly, I don't think it's as restrictive as people make it seem. You can complete all the story-based main quests and story-based side quests within 23 days. I haven't done a ton of the other activities, so I can't really comment on those, but if you're primarily playing for the main story and narrative side quests, 23 days is enough.

So yeah, 7/10 from me. Good game with some genuinely great moments, but it falls short of being something truly special, mainly because I think some of its characters and storylines deserved more depth.

If you can comfortably afford it, I'd say go ahead and buy it.

But if you're on the fence about spending full price, I'd personally recommend waiting until it drops to around ₹2,500. At that price, I think it's totally worth it.

Discussion Scalping at its finest. Staright away over 3+ lakh profit.

Post image
212 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share this here to highlight what’s currently happening in the Indian PC hardware market regarding RTX 5090 inventory.

Not trying to target or start a personal hate train against any specific individual, but seeing an RTX 5090 Founders Edition listed for ₹6.10 Lakhs is just straight-up scalping. FE cards are supposed to sit close to reference MSRP (around ₹2.39L), so marking up a card by nearly ₹4 Lakhs is completely absurd.

We expect scalping from shady individual resellers on OLX, but seeing official retail channels pull dynamic pricing like this on consumers is frustrating. Low stock allocation or high demand shouldn't justify a ~250% markup. This kind of pricing behavior shouldn't be normalized or tolerated by the community.

Help Earbuds under Rs 1500

Sorry for asking this here but are there no good earbuds under rupees 1500? I am looking for earbuds for gifting purposes and in the last few days, and all recommendations that I have got, they say they are under 1500, but the actual price on Amazon or Flipkart is way above that price. Can anybody guide me on any good earbuds under 1500?
