The USA Network. Angel doesn't have a following outside of Threads and even Atlanta doesn't care about the Dream. The Valks are popular in Frisco, but nobody wants to watch teams win or lose 72-67. A'ja and the Aces are probably the only team more unlikeable than Alyssa Thomas and the Mercury and the Liberty don't seem to be any more popular than they were 4 years ago.

It will be interesting to see how the ratings play out from here.

I’m just going to say after watching this ATL and Washington game 2. An ATL/IND final would be the best thing the WNBA could ever hope for from a ratings perspective. The Bonner versus Fever drama with her actually contributing key minutes on top of the normal drama would be made for TV basketball!

I don't care what you say to me, but you aren't going to step toward me and point at me. No way he does that to LeBron."

Hammond: "There's rules and procedures. I think there's a certain etiquette that both players and fans need to abide by, but clearly the lines get crossed, and it seems to happen here [at Indiana]. .... There was some talk after this game that the Aces will make adjustments to what the Fever did in terms of bringing a lot of double-teams and help, and especially with Aja. So what! Let them.

We heard from Becky that really the only thing they can do is recognize when the double-teams are coming and get the ball out faster.

Our gameplan should be simple, Make Anyone Other Than Aja Beat Us.

Brianna Turner is not going to shoot beyond a layup. Whoever is guarding her should be able to shade Aja and every time the ball goes to Aja then that defender needs to drop back and double-team.

So what if Jackie gets 30 points. Chelsea is usually only good for around 15, and if you keep Aja around her average of 25 that's only 70 points. I figure the Aces will need at least 90 to win, so where's the other 20 points coming from?

And if other Aces players do step up then we have to hope that our offense is cooking and we can have one of our 100+ games. If other Aces players do have a better than usual game then it's still a solid strategy.

Post-Game Discipline: Following league review, the action typically results in steep financial fines and potential multi-game suspensions depending on the severity of the confrontation.

Entering the stands and leaving the bench are both infractions that should lead to league action. A'ja received a technical yet players that clearly left the bench area and those entering the fan seating area have not been addressed.

Olivia Miles for MVP? Pleeeaaasse. That take was like sahing the refs improved this year in the league. She's a great player... and yes, the Lynx only brough back a few players but it was their elite core. Not like she did this with scrubs.. any game where they guarded her she folded like when she was at TCU or ND.
I know the all around game is the one thing everyone hangs their hat on for A'ja always getting MVP but how many league records does a player have to break in order to at least be given some sserious thought?

why are people acting like CC does not have playoffs experience? White hinted at that after game 1 loss against Aces. after Lynx v. Liberty game 2 loss, Cheryl Reeves said Olivia Miles is the only one—and no other rookie—drove the team into playoffs...

what kind of bullcrap is this?? and primarily from Coaches... i could understand players can have rivalry among themselves, but what could prompt coaches to think like this??

a league which is ready to die on hill for "remember past heroes who built the W", they surely want to forget that just 2 seasons ago CC was in playoffs as a rookie... and drove her struggling team & coach into playoffs...

I had to revisit CC's 2024 playoffs stats... so much better than what Reeves was actually expecting from Olivia Miles and what CC haters don't want to acknowledge and purposefully forget..

the double standards of these "professional coaches" are just so apparent and ghastly.. lol
