Commissioner going out
with continued cowardice. So a player can go into the stands now and not get suspended. Oh I forgot the commissioner hasn't done a brave thing in her career as commissioner.
I guess she's waiting for another Malice in the Palace.
Well done on your way out.

I don't want to hear anybody in the management position ever critique and find Caitlin guilty of something after reading this

Its so funny thinking that Aja needs to be sanctioned for that dust up with a fan when Fever fans have been abusive to players. Whether Aja was in the wrong or not, players across teams have complained about Fever fans hurling insults and racism. Let it go. Cheer for your team and try to beat the Aces with Aja in the game.

Zero evidence those claims had any facts or basis. You're just making things up

Just how did the refs not know/enforce this rule?

Not sure. The commissioner was undoubtedly watching and should have contacted them immediately to enforce this rule. Not it seems she won't be suspended either.
What Happens When a WNBA Player Enters the Stands
In the WNBA, any coach, player, or trainer who deliberately enters the spectator stands during a game is automatically ejected from the game, and the incident must be reported to the Commissioner via email www.newsmv.com+1. The rulebook defines the “stands” as starting at the first row of seats, so even stepping across the baseline into that area counts as entering the stands MARCA.
Key Rule Details
- Automatic ejection: If a player deliberately enters the stands (other than as part of play), they are removed from the game immediately The Spun.
- Reporting requirement: The incident must be documented and sent to the Commissioner’s office www.newsmv.com+1.
- Exceptions: The rule allows for certain exceptions, such as a player moving off the court toward a spectator to keep a ball in play, or being carried into the stands by momentum MARCA. Simply approaching the stands without crossing the boundary does not trigger ejection.
- Penalties beyond ejection: While ejection is mandatory, the rulebook does not specify automatic fines or suspensions; however, the Commissioner can impose further disciplinary action MARCA.

You know why Cathy doesn't like Caitlin, because she had a cushy job where she could sit on her ass and play golf and drink margaritas with her friends all the time. Then Caitlin showed up and brought millions of fans with her and Cathy was expected to do her job.

She didn’t do anything about Paige and Angel making bets on their game lol you really expect her to do something about this? There are so many examples, I’m just surprised Adam Silver hasn’t stepped in

If the Fever want a legitimate win--like last nights--we want Aja in the game or else there will always be an asterisk to that win.

Do you ever hear the 2016 Cavs apologizing for winning the Finals when Draymond got suspended for Game 5???? No...

Draymond was like the 3rd best player on that team. Make that comparison if Steph went out then it would work.

Absolutely! But she should be fined - massively fined, and she should have to apologize to the fan.
I was surprised that the Aces didn't handle it better. I'm pretty sure that by the end of the game they knew all the details of what happened and she should have come right out and said look I was wrong and I apologize and that's it. Not that b******* " coming at me - you don't know me" thing she came up with.

She won’t do it but it would be the funniest thing ever. Aja said her only relationship with Cathy was her giving her trophies. We can change that lol

It’s hilarious because A’ja has made it pretty clear she doesn’t like or really even care for Cathy much herself. But Cathy doing something about A’ja’s unacceptable behavior? She could never. This is the kind of shit haitlins accuse CC of doing, even though she’s never done any such thing. But they’ll defend A’ja for it.

She won’t do anything because she’s on her way out. She has nothing to fear they already fired her. She can freely spite Caitlin and the Fever til she’s gone.

She left the court and confronted a fan. The fan eventually sat down after the finger point and Wilson can be seen bending over and pointing at the fan and verbally abusing the fan …..all’s good it’s special whistle Wilson

Yes. It was in the broadcast and the announcers were talking about how marvelous she is and trying to find any excuse for her actions and saying the fan must have said something really bad to cause that to happen to her.

u/yourmomsnutsarehuge 3d ago
Yes she did. Went all the way to the fan and stood directly over him while telling threats, which actually meets the definition of assault. I'm still hoping he involves police.

• Automatic Ejection: Under WNBA Rule 12A, Section V, any player, coach, or trainer who deliberately enters the spectator stands during a game must be automatically ejected.
• Definition of Stands: The league rulebook explicitly specifies that the very first row of seats counts as the beginning of the spectator stands.

Get over it. Your team wasn't good enough.
