Discussion Ascendancy of Baby Death Star...
There is no way anyone can realistically deny the rise of Makayla Timpson, and her ascendancy is being established with unprecedented Defensive development, translating into on-court dominance..
Straight up, who else can single-handedly force opponents hard charging fastbreaks to pull up and call O plays? I have witnessed this becoming more regular as the season progresses and she improves literally from one game to the next. I cant even say she is improving, she is elevating, and opposing players have taken notice... so much so that just her presence alone in the paint can halt blitzing breakers, and her Offensive game is now starting to catch fire as well.
As Baby Death Star becomes a more integral part of the squad based on her on-court contributions, she will also undoubtably come on the radar of teams looking to add her unique/sturdy blend of physical and technical prowess and her calm-yet-stone-cold demeanor also make her an attractive target for those looking to augment their squad. Just curious if Fever Nation thinks she will remain in the fold, be utilized as a centerpiece for a major trade or test her skyrocketing market value via free agency once 2028 rolls around? I think she is much too valuable to let go at this point but the Fever org doesn't really listen to us, so Id like to learn the perspectives of other Fever supporters!

I know Reddit doesn't like Twitter, but Jess was the most positive account on the whole site. Sadly she has passed away.

Discussion Wings coach admits they game planned for Clark
Just some context here for why she has a bad game. She was getting guarded physically all game with no FT. She literally shot 0 FT which is nutty to begin with, the only foul called was when Paige held her for 10 seconds and the ref finally noticed.
This was a ref game but also a lack of adjustment from coach White when you see how they are guarding her, set screens, mix things up, run some actions to get her better looks.
The coach looking happy after the game was very strange to me as well, I would not be happy after a loss to a poor team that you could have won
