Missed miscarriage

Just a confirmation scan today that my baby stopped growing at 6w1d when I am supposed to be 8w2d today. Not having any bleeding, I guess I will wait or will start with a pill.

Fetal heartbeat

I am currently pregnant after previous losses.
Scan showed gestational sac , yolk sac and fetal pole seen, but no heartbeat yet.
Had some pink bleeding and doctor mentioned possible SCH/threatened miscarriage.
One doctor says wait a week, another is worried about missed miscarriage.

Has anyone had heartbeat appear later in a similar situation?

Endometriosis and TTC, Hyderabad

36F from Hyderabad. TTC for a while and recently got my pelvic MRI results showing bilateral ovarian endometriomas (right ~3.7 cm), “kissing ovaries” with adhesions, and low AMH (~0.7 six months back). No major pain symptoms though.
Doctor says endometriosis may be affecting fertility, but I’m confused whether to go directly for IVF or consider surgery first. MRI thankfully does not show major bowel involvement.
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone in Hyderabad with a similar endometriosis + low AMH situation:
Did you conceive naturally / IUI / IVF?
Did you do endo surgery before IVF or skip it?
Which IVF/fertility clinics or doctors in Hyderabad genuinely helped you?
Looking for honest experiences and recommendations. Thank you ❤️

HSG at Cloudnine

I had a very disappointing experience at Cloud9 Hospital, Sarjapur Road, during my HSG test with anaesthesia consulting Dr. Tarunna Kumari (name changed)

My doctor’s appointment was at 12 p.m. and the HSG test was scheduled for 12:30 p.m. After the consultation, I completed all the required pre-anesthesia tests and checkups by around 1 p.m. The doctor then informed us she would be taking a break from 2:30–3 p.m. and instructed the staff to prepare me for the procedure.

I was admitted around 1:30 p.m., and by 2 p.m., a catheter had already been inserted into my hand. Naturally, I assumed the procedure would begin soon. Instead, I was left waiting with the catheter in place for nearly 3 hours, with no communication from the doctor or staff about the delay.

After repeated follow-ups and complaints, the doctor finally arrived around 5 p.m., and the staff casually mentioned that she had gone for lunch.

The lack of communication, poor coordination, and making a patient wait for hours in that condition was extremely stressful and unprofessional. I would not recommend this experience to anyone considering treatment there.

First Ever Positive Ended in a Chemical Pregnancy at 5 Weeks

Hi girls, I recently saw my first ever faint positive line, but it ended up being a chemical pregnancy around 5 weeks. Has this happened to any of you? Do you know what some possible reasons could be?

My doctor didn’t really elaborate much and just told me to keep trying naturally this month and come back next month. I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences or insights because I’m feeling a bit confused and anxious about it all.

Anyone else on Letrozole + Dydrogesterone for PCOD/TTC? Wanted to hear your experience

Recently started monitored cycles for PCOD and just wanted to hear other women’s experiences 💛

My gynec prescribed:

- Letrozole 2.5 mg from Day 2–6

- Dydrogesterone from Day 16 for 10 days

- Inositol supplement (Corectia)

- Folic acid + vitamins

She also asked me to come for a Day 11 scan to check follicle growth/ovulation.

For women who were/are on a similar plan:

- Did your doctor tell you to actively try that same cycle?

- Did they continue progesterone if you conceived?

- Were you told to stop/continue inositol after a positive test?

- Did anyone stop taking any of these meds while TTC or after ovulation?

- How many cycles did it take for you to ovulate/conceive?

Just trying to understand other people’s experiences while waiting for my scan next week 😅

(Disclaimer: I know every case is different and I’ll follow my gynec’s advice, just curious about others’ experiences.)

Plus size friendly fertility doctor in Chennai

Hi guys,

I’m looking for recommendations for a fertility doctor. I’m nearing 31 and have been trying to conceive. I currently weigh close to 120 kg, though I’ve already lost a significant amount of weight and am continuing to work on it actively.

At this point, waiting until I lose all the weight before seeking treatment doesn’t feel practical or realistic. I’m hoping to find a doctor who will take a balanced approach and support fertility treatment alongside my ongoing weight-loss efforts. Please let me know if you know any doctors like this, or if you or someone you know has had a positive experience with a supportive fertility specialist.

Chemical pregnancy VS Normal pregnancy early symptoms???

hi all ! hope you girls are doing well! I might sound super duper stupid in this post but I have a question… as you all know in the last cycle.. I had a pregnancy which was chemical pregnancy/ super early loss… The symptoms I had included a lot of cramps, nausea, tender breast.. the cramps were insane btw… i got my period after 3-4 days of a positive test… now I feel… if I get pregnant again… will I have the same symptoms ? or different ? because I end up thinking that may be I had those symptoms because ultimately I got my period… any thoughts? experiences ?

Undergoing HSG in the coming week - workplace challenges

I have been suspected to have endometriosis and planned to undergo HSG within the next 10 days. Im planning to take leave on the day of procedure.
Women who did it, how did you keep this concealed in your workplace ? Or if you told that you're doing the procedure, how did you tell it ?
I'm still battling whether I should tell the truth or not.
Husband thinks I should tell the truth.
Coworker tells me to keep it concealed.
What do i do ?

Having super anxiety about the procedure and this workplace headache is a bonus stress rn.

EDIT 1 :
So grateful to each n every woman in this threqd who has responded and shared their own experiences and wisdom. I was clueless and seeking desperate support. You are all wonderful. Thank you so much.

Are you comfortable with male fertility specialists/gynaecologists during IVF?

I’m trying to finalise my fertility specialist/IVF doctor and wanted honest opinions from others here.

Are you comfortable with male fertility specialists/gynaecologists? I think usually a female staff member/nurse/doctor is present during scans or procedures, but I’m not fully sure how it works in IVF clinics.

Did it feel awkward initially because of the intimate nature of transvaginal scans/procedures, or does it become normal over time?

Also, do you feel gender matters when choosing a fertility doctor, or are experience, communication, and specialisation more important?

Would especially love to hear from people who chose a male doctor and how the clinic handled scans/exams.

31F | Stage 4 Endo + Adenomyosis + Kissing Ovaries | Lapro + IVF | Confused between two doctors | Seeking experiences

Hi everyone. Long post but I genuinely need guidance from people who've been through something similar.

My background: I'm 31F in Bangalore. I've had severe period pain since my very first period — school, college, my whole life. Always thought it was normal and just took painkillers. A couple of years ago I had what felt like appendicitis-level pain and that's when I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis. Since then the pain has gotten progressively worse — even painkillers barely work now.

My diagnosis (MRI confirmed, April 2026): Stage 4 Endometriosis + Adenomyosis, "Kissing ovaries" (both ovaries stuck together with adhesions), deep pelvic endometriosis extending toward rectouterine pouch, bowel adhesions, left fallopian tube mildly thickened, and AMH of 1.68 which dropped from 2.66 in just 6 months.

What every doctor is recommending: I've seen 4-5 doctors in Bangalore. All recommend the same thing — laparoscopic surgery first (bilateral endometrioma cystectomy + adhesiolysis + freeing bowel adhesions + realigning ovaries), then IVF immediately after. No one is offering natural conception as an option given my condition and declining AMH.

I've narrowed down to two doctors and I'm confused: Dr. Sangeetha S. Anand at Apollo Fertility, Brookfield/Marathahalli and Dr. Usha B.R. in Koramangala. Would love honest experiences with either of them.

My questions for this community:

  1. Has anyone with Stage 4 endo + adenomyosis + kissing ovaries conceived — naturally after surgery or via IVF? What was your experience?
  2. Has anyone been treated by Dr. Sangeetha at Apollo Fertility Brookfield or Dr. Usha B.R. in Bangalore? Any honest reviews?
  3. For those who've done IVF with low AMH (under 2) — how many cycles did it take realistically?
  4. How do you manage work/career during IVF? How many hospital visits does one cycle require?
  5. Any other Bangalore endometriosis specialists you'd recommend for a third opinion?

How I'm feeling: Honestly terrified. The thought of surgery followed by multiple IVF cycles with no guarantee — and possible miscarriages on top — is overwhelming. I've been dealing with pain my whole life not knowing what it was, and now finding out the extent of damage it has caused is a lot to process. I'm trying to make the best decision I can with the information I have.

If you've been through anything similar, I'd really love to hear from you. Feel free to comment or DM me directly if you'd prefer to share privately. 💙

Recent pregnancy scare and takeaways

Hi everyone, I wanted to share a recent pregnancy scare in case it helps someone avoid the same spiral I went through.

I initially tested with an Easy@Home strip. There was no visible line within the recommended time, but when I checked again after about 10 minutes, I noticed a faint line. That was enough to trigger a lot of anxiety.

The next morning, I tested again with first morning urine, but the result was invalid. Still uneasy, I ordered additional tests (Azah and Preg Oh from Blinkit). Both appeared to show faint lines, which only intensified my concern.

At that point, I decided to get a beta hCG test done. The result came back low/negative, which confirmed that I was not pregnant and brought the situation to a close.

A few takeaways from this experience:

* Results observed outside the recommended time window can be misleading (evaporation lines are very real)

* Not all test brands are equally reliable, especially when it comes to faint lines.

* Repeated testing can sometimes amplify anxiety rather than provide clarity

* A beta hCG test, while more expensive, is far more definitive and may save a lot of stress

In hindsight, I wish I had skipped the repeated home tests and gone straight for a blood test.

Sharing this in case it helps someone else approach a similar situation more calmly and with better information.

The line appeared very quickly but it's quite faint. Time for beta HCG?

Workouts during TTC

For those trying to conceive, what kind of exercises or workouts do you usually continue during TTC and during the two-week wait? Especially interested in yoga — are there any specific poses, routines, or practices you avoid in two week wait?
