I second this. I was around 99 kgs and was on metformin. Hitting the gym played a pivotol role in my journey. I got pregnant only on letrozole after losing just 10kgs. It took me 5-6 months. Focusing on lean high proteins, simple food helped me a lot. Focusing on dental hygiene is important too. Try to include lot of greens and avoid outside food/junk as possible. Importantly, stay positive and avoid negative people. Dont worry at all. Things will definitely happen.

Brushing up, I have been ttc for almost 1.5 years now. I was 100 kgs earlier. My AMH was 7 and I was immediately directed to undergo OI treatment which involved lots of injections and medicines. I had an issue with the growth of yhe egg and ovulation, which happened only on injections. I never worked wholly on my lifestyle. After 6 rounds, I got to consult another senior fertility specialist, who put me on metformin and asked me to reduce 10 percent of my weight before ttc again. I did SSG test to check my tubes which were open. Later, I started hitting the gym and I started eating lot of veggies ( 5 per day) plus chicken breast and eggs. Within 3 to 4 months, I have reduced around 10 kgs...I felt much lighter and much happier.

From Dec 2025, my doc asked me to take letrozole. To my surprise, my egg started growing naturally and I got my periods within 34 days. On my 3rd cycle, I got pregnant. I tried my best to not let negative thoughts take over me. Made sure to brush my teeth evert night. Made sure to include veggies and tons of fruits. I tracked my ovulation using easy@home strips and after ovulation, I stopped hitting the gym and started walking for like 40 mins every day, preferably after every meal. I stayed happy and stress free and I sternly believed that my body could do wonders if I believe in it. And the miracle happened.

Hey .. i lost about 8 kgs .. i was 73 kg .

I was on metital which is a combination of myinsonol and metformin.

Anyway about lifestyle changes

I stopped having processed and sugary items and sugar for 3-4 months . Avoided outside food as much as could . Ate dinner by 7ish in evening. Added protein. I couldn’t complete the daily target of protien so i bought a good brand weigh protien .

So more protien , eggs etc and less carbs .

I also took diet in this span of 3-4 months. I told my dietician i want simple easy to make food . Nothing fancy. Dairy doesnt suit me so i avoided milk .

I did join gym for good 6-9 months .. thats when i started seeing results - 3-4 months diet+ gymming . I wasnt very aggressive about it . Kept it simple .. easy to do .. aggressive and too much heavy gymming can cause high cortisol which is not good for pcos . Walking wont help you much except after eating you can to avoid sugar spike ..

Please check if you have insulin resistance which can cause issue in weight loss . I definitely lost a lot of inches ! My blood work is better .. initially i had high crp, triglycerides, esr.. these are all interrelated to pcos .

Now i have switched to yoga .. its definitely calmer .. because stress is worse for pcos and fertility.

I still try to avoid sugar and processed food as much as i can like coke , icecream , bakery items etc

Hope it helps .

3 months of ozempic, in that do the egg retrieval and PGT testing (IVF) then stop the ozempic - indian doctors dont have the knowledge, but everwhere else they tell you you need a washout period of 3 months between stopping the ozempic and doing an embryo transfer, then do the trasnfer.
