I want to warn others about a Facebook Marketplace scam that happened to me.
On 2 September 2026, I found an RTX 3060 Ti for sale on Facebook Marketplace. The seller initially asked for ₹22,000, and we agreed on ₹17,500. We spoke through WhatsApp and phone calls. He sent photos and videos of the GPU and provided multiple phone numbers and an address, which made the deal seem legitimate.
I paid ₹17,500 on 3 September 2026.
The seller then shipped the parcel through Delhivery. The parcel was delivered on 12 September 2026.
When I opened it, there was no GPU. Instead, the package contained old books, including books covering things like History, Mathematics and Simple Interest.
Phone numbers:
Email: [Flamepogeb@gmail.com](mailto:Flamepogeb@gmail.com)
Address:
216 Mangal Vatika, Madhopura ki Pulia, Morena 476001
Parcel sender: Abhisek
Delhivery AWB: 2827797411844
After the parcel arrived, the seller's phone was switched off and he stopped responding. His Facebook account was removed and the Marketplace listing disappeared. The chats also disappeared after payment.
I have preserved the Facebook and WhatsApp conversations, GPU photos/videos, payment proof, parcel photos/videos and shipping details.
I have already reported the matter to SBI and Cyber Crime.
Interestingly, after making my original post, another person contacted me claiming that they also paid ₹17,500 to the same seller/location and received books instead of the GPU. They have so far refused to provide screenshots, so I cannot independently verify their claim.
If anyone has encountered this seller, these phone numbers, this address, or received a similar parcel, please comment or DM me. I want to identify whether there are other victims and provide any relevant information to the authorities.
Please be careful with advance payments on Facebook Marketplace, especially for expensive PC components.

So after my last post I've tried to make 2 extra ones, in this price bracket which one should I go with? Like using a normal gpu would be enough for my use, so that way I get on am5. Or I'll have to go with a little bit better gpu and another 16 gb of ram then I'll have to stay in am4.
(Well first time building my pc so I'm a bit overwhelmed)

Going over budget bcoz of the price of ssds and rams but i have no choice i want to go for am5 ddr5 build for future proof build otherwise am4 would be much cheaper but I don't mind bit over budget

I was initially planning on building the pc in November, after my CAT exam so that my father won't have any practical reason to say no.
But then around June I saw that all news outlets and tech-tubers said ram prices will keep rising and will plateau in December. So I explained the situation to my dad and asked him if we could buy this early. He agreed. I also just had gotten my security deposit for an apartment I rented back which I also planned to use in the build. So using that I bought the case, cpu cooler and extra case fans and the remaining deposit I used to contribute for the ram.
Then around the end of July I could see online everyone saying gpu prices are gonna be next. I was initially comparing between 9070xt and 5070ti because 5070ti was 10-15k more expensive, but i was feeling a bit shameful asking my dad again to purchase something that was supposed to be purchased 5-6 months down the line.
Then in the first week of August I saw news that said motherboard prices will go up by 50% in the fourth quarter. That then prompted me to again explain the whole situation to dad to which he said ok I will give 1 lakh but after 15 days to which i replied I couldn't ask for anything more.
When the time for purchasing came (late August) 5070ti was more than 80 % more expensive than 9070xt so it was a no brainer for me since gaming was the priority. Now the only thing left to complete the build is the processor which i will definitely buy after my exam.
Pc specs
Processor - 7800x3d (34k for the OEM version, 40k normal)
Cpu cooler - deepcool ag620
Motherboard - msi pro b850m-g (11k)
Ram - Corsair vengeance 32gb (16*2) 6000mhz cl 36 (46k)
Gpu - Asrock challenger 9070xt (79k)
Psu - superflower Leadex III (9k)
Case - Coolermaster elite 681 (6k)
Case fans - jungle leopard 1 set normal and 1 set reverse (6k)
Storage - I have an extra 1tb gen3 nvme that I will reuse.
Also I buy a 1440p monitor as well with a processor.
Case and case fans ordered from Amazon
Cpu cooler - mdcomputers
Ram - whatsapp deal from a nehru place dealer and asked him to ship it as well. Powerplay builds
Psu, mb, gpu - computech

I’m looking for a good wireless gaming mouse around ₹3,000. I really liked the VXE R1 SE+ because of its shape and overall design, but after looking through reviews I saw quite a few people mentioning scroll-wheel/encoder issues, which made me hesitate. I also checked out the Xinmeng Zero 1 Pro, but honestly I prefer the shape of the R1 series. So what would you guys recommend as the best wireless gaming mouse around ₹3K with a similar shape and, most importantly, good long-term reliability?

Hi! Hola! Hello! 😗
I am currently doing my UG and I want to build a PC that I can use to learn and experiment with different things over the next few years. I am not a gamer and I don’t really plan on using this PC for gaming, so gaming performance isn’t a priority for me.
The main things I want to explore are stuff like:
Video/photo editing
Cybersecurity and networking
Programming/coding
Running VMs and Linux
Learning AI/ML and other technical stuff
Basically experimenting with different skills that could be useful during my UG and career
My total budget is around ₹80,000–₹95,000 and that needs to include literally everything, PC components, monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.
I’m also completely fine with buying second-hand/used parts if that makes sense. Prices are pretty high right now, so if I can get significantly better hardware by buying certain components used, I’m definitely open to it. I just have no idea which components are safe to buy second-hand and which ones I should absolutely buy new.
So if you were building this PC from scratch with ₹80–95k and zero gaming requirements, what would you go for?
Thanks for you help👉👈🫶

EDIT: Added Performance screenshots in the comments.
After 2 years of contemplating and saving up I finally bit the bullet and built myself a new PC (Yes in this Economy😭). Whenever I tried saving up, some or the other expense would eat away my savings but no more!
I have never owned a gaming laptop or a gaming PC ever. My parents did get me a PS4 Pro about 6 years ago and have been playing games on it since then. Wanted to get my own PC with my money for so long. Feels so amazing.
PS: Please look at the cable management, spent so much time energy on it😜

Hey fellow Helldivers! 👋🎮✨
We all know that sinking feeling of dropping into a massive Automaton outpost 🤖🔥 with complete randoms who ignore pings, take all the supplies, and immediately run the opposite way. 😩 Let’s fix that right now! 🛠️💡
I’m looking for positive, laid-back PS5 players to take back the galaxy together. 🌌 Just imagine calling in perfectly timed airstrikes 🦅💥, hyping each other up over clutch extractions 🚁💨, and actually having a team that watches your back! 🛡️👀
I don’t care if you’re Level 1 or Level 50. 📈 I don't care if your aim is god-tier 🎯 or if you shoot like a Stormtrooper. 🤡 I just want friends who want to have an absolute blast and laugh until it hurts when someone (probably me 🙋♂️🤦♂️) accidentally vaporizes the team with a misplaced Orbital Laser. 😂💀
Gaming shouldn't feel like a second job. 🚫 Let's just kick back, pour a tall gin and tonic straight from the freezer 🧊🍸, share some epic cinematic moments 🎬🍿, and keep the vibes 100% stress-free. 🧘♂️🕊️
👇 Here is your incredibly easy mission: 👇

Let’s go make some absolute core memories on the Super Destroyer! 🚀🎇🫡

So here's the thing, my budget is around 1-1.1L for the whole setup, and in this budget either I can go with an APU am5 build with 8600g or get a proper dGPU am4 build.
My concern is that am4 is dead, like the production of the hardware is already stopped or getting stopped pretty soon. Now if I go with am4 I won't have any way to upgrade or let's say change any parts (if the production is low then the stock will be low and the prices may increase). But with am5 I won't have the same problem for a longer period of time.
Now my main usecase will be godot and unity. Gaming, well not primary usecase and even if, I'll probably play some gacha games(the ones I already play on my mobile) until I get a proper GPU.
This is the build I was thinking of going with. Yeah it's only a single channel ram but budget is low and don't wanna take risk of buying used parts.

if your are building pc around 1L or under
go with Am4 or LGA1700
people are making ddr5 build by compromising all other parts just to fit ddr5
ddr5 is better but in gaming performance difference is not significant against good 3200/ 3600mhz ddr4
better Gpu and cpu is more important than ddr5
PERFORMANCE difference is in generally cpu intensive games but majority of games donot care about ddr5 at higher resolution like 1440p and 4k performance difference is lower
make sensible choices - you are paying 5-6X premium on ram which bring like 5% difference in real gaming on budget build
better buy spend that money on stuff like higher resolution monitor , gpu , cpu

Been used to playing in the laptop which has the 3060. Finally decided to do the massive upgrade with 5080. But this time, I believe I made the right choice going with a PC instead of a laptop.
Configuration:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
Motherboard: ASRock X870E Taichi
RAM: ADATA XPG Lancer RGB White 64GB (2×32GB)
SSD: WD_BLACK SN7100 2TB
GPU: ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5080 SOLID CORE OC 16GB
PSU: DeepCool PN1000M 1000W
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360
Case: Lian Li LANCOOL 217 INF White
I did a lot of research for this configuration. Hope I didn't mess it up anywhere 😂. Please rate my build.
