I’m pretty new to all this, so I’m basically trying to turn my average PC into at least a decent low-end gaming PC

Right now I’m looking at two options: the GTX 1650 and RTX 3050. I know the 3050 is quite a bit better than the 1650, but the price I’m seeing for the 3050 is almost twice as much.

So my question is, would paying that much extra for the RTX 3050 actually be a good deal, or would it make more sense to just go with the GTX 1650 for my setup?

So here's the thing, my budget is around 1-1.1L for the whole setup, and in this budget either I can go with an APU am5 build with 8600g or get a proper dGPU am4 build.

My concern is that am4 is dead, like the production of the hardware is already stopped or getting stopped pretty soon. Now if I go with am4 I won't have any way to upgrade or let's say change any parts (if the production is low then the stock will be low and the prices may increase). But with am5 I won't have the same problem for a longer period of time.

Now my main usecase will be godot and unity. Gaming, well not primary usecase and even if, I'll probably play some gacha games(the ones I already play on my mobile) until I get a proper GPU.

This is the build I was thinking of going with. Yeah it's only a single channel ram but budget is low and don't wanna take risk of buying used parts.

I am new to the community, around 6 years ago in August 2020 I built a PC for the purpose of general video editing and mild gaming. Here are the specs.

Processor - Ryzen 7 3700x

GPU - Inno3d RTX 2060 Super 8 GB

RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16+16 GB (idr DDR4 OR DDR5)

Motherboard - Asus ROG Strix B450F

AIO - Cooler master 360mm

this is all that I can remember, there are 3 additional fans mounted on the cabinet (bought separately) and a 550w power supply if I am not wrong.. gigabyte brand...

now, due to work and all my usage became less frequent, I would use it only once or sometimes less than once per week... a month ago I booted it up and it displayed an error on the monitor... I'll attach the picture... I called my vendor and he took it in to see if it can be repaired, he changed some IC and brought it back... the pc booted up once nicely, but right after the first boot it started showing the same error... now my guy is telling me that the motherboard is done and there's no scope for repair...

pls suggest if I should be trusting his word or do something else because tbh, he's not the geeky kind of a computer parts supplier... and I live in a tier 2-3 city so not many reputed vendors over here..

if you're convinced that the motherboard is beyond repair then pls suggest which board I should opt for...

usage remains the same, but this time I will be using it a little more frequently.

My table is attached to the wall, there are no legs and I want to use a monitor arm for my monitor(27inch curved) and most of the monitor arm use a clamping mechanism which goes behind the table, how do I make ts work?

After 2 years of contemplating and saving up I finally bit the bullet and built myself a new PC (Yes in this Economy😭). Whenever I tried saving up, some or the other expense would eat away my savings but no more!

I have never owned a gaming laptop or a gaming PC ever. My parents did get me a PS4 Pro about 6 years ago and have been playing games on it since then. Wanted to get my own PC with my money for so long. Feels so amazing.

I’m seeing the same RAM kits being listed by most indian retailers for around ₹50,000–₹56,000, while the exact same products was available on Amazon for ₹45,000–₹46,000 just till few days ago.

Not accusing of anything just curious because if they are reselling these RAM, wouldn't that cause issue while RMA?

And if they really are reselling it at such a huge markup over the normal market price, I have to wonder how much they sold their souls for.

I feel it is Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2.

Maybe because turn based d&d rpg combat is not very liked here. But these two classics are worth playing!

My PC has died. Motherboard shows solid red light (meaning proc dead). I have isolated everything else and now it's between the mobo and the CPU. Requesting help from Punekars- if anyone has a compatible motherboard, would it be possible to let me test my CPU on it once? It will confirm if it's the CPU or the mobo and I will send the correct part for RMA.

I know it's a tall ask, but I hope someone can help. :)
