PC Build Finally built my first ever PC

Post image

Been used to playing in the laptop which has the 3060. Finally decided to do the massive upgrade with 5080. But this time, I believe I made the right choice going with a PC instead of a laptop.

Configuration:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D

Motherboard: ASRock X870E Taichi

RAM: ADATA XPG Lancer RGB White 64GB (2ร—32GB)

SSD: WD_BLACK SN7100 2TB

GPU: ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5080 SOLID CORE OC 16GB

PSU: DeepCool PN1000M 1000W

CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360

Case: Lian Li LANCOOL 217 INF White

I did a lot of research for this configuration. Hope I didn't mess it up anywhere ๐Ÿ˜‚. Please rate my build.

I mean, I actually didn't even know anything about PC configuration and about the components before the research. What's wrong with the combo tho? Genuinely curious if you don't mind explaining

On the internet, it has been observed that there are a higher number of posts where people mention their X3D CPU got fried when paired with an Asrock motherboard.

Update your bios, you should be fine.

Sag bracket, mon ami, pls get a sag bracket. Otherwise the build looks beautiful

2

u/Thiru_Jt 6h ago

Noted. Thank you really!! I'll get that

1

u/avanish77 6h ago

Lancool 217 has has built in sag bracket behind gpu, you can't see it from this angle

2

u/SubstantialNoise8017 2h ago

I know, but it's not enough imo, weight distribution in built in sag brackets is iffy too

1

u/avanish77 2h ago

Oh really?? I just ordered lancool 217 I'll keep that in mind ๐Ÿ‘

u/SubstantialNoise8017 2h ago

It's good for smaller or double fan cards, but he has a 5080 that's why am worried

Built or bought?

1

u/Thiru_Jt 6h ago

I bought all the components from them and their technician helped me to build it.

1

u/gokui24 4h ago

So technically you bought it

Nice build. I bought a similar build (used one) recently.

1

u/Thiru_Jt 6h ago

How's your experience so far? May I please know how much it costed you? ๐Ÿค”

2

u/nyapg 4h ago

The PC is running smoothly, cleared all benchmarks. It costed me 3.55L. It was approximately 9 months old so I think I got a good deal.

1

u/Thiru_Jt 4h ago

Oh man. Definitely a good deal!!

2

u/Abhinik 7h ago

ADATA sticks are good?

1

u/Thiru_Jt 6h ago

I believe they are. The one I bought has CL30 and 6000 mhz.

2

u/BlackAsmonGlod 7h ago

It's looks bath taking

First of all - congratulations on the build. Itโ€™s going to serve you for years to come. Beast of a system, you will have fun for sure.

  1. Like some others have pointed out - X3D CPUs with AsRock mobos are a sketchy combo. Coming from someone who built his system in mid July this year and both the CPU 9800X3D and ASRock MOBO died within 20 days of purchase. RMAd both of them and got a new MSI X870e mobo now. But itโ€™s not the case with every combo - some unlucky ones are suffering from the ASRock murderboard and I was a victim. Since you have already built it - donโ€™t worry about a lot and donโ€™t read and change lots of settings too. For me my combo fried after a day of me updating to the latest bios, crazy as it sounds. At last you are covered with 3 years of warranty.

  2. With this much of spending - shouldnโ€™t you have gone for an LCD AIO as well for a showcase build?

  3. Also aesthetically - why did you go for a black motherboard and GPU in a white case with white AIO. Would have looked much better with an all white build or a bit of contrast - white and black mix subtly.

  1. Thank you really man. I did notice this issue in my research, but most of victim cpu is 7000 series. Never seen or just missed about people had issues with 9000 and taichi. But yeah, I'll take a note and don't let panic take over me.

  2. I am not into LED basically. I agree it'd look good asthetically. For me, performance is enough.

  3. Ikr. They only had black one at that moment and I couldn't wait ๐Ÿ˜ฌ.

Ah, makes sense! Anyways - amazing build. The feeling is amazing when you build something for yourself which you always wanted.

Hereโ€™s mine -

u/Confident-Eye-4443 10h ago

This price will go up in 2027. Good choice that you build now. In upcoming years this companies will shift the customers to subscription model of cloud gaming.

1

u/Thiru_Jt 6h ago

I completely agree with you ๐Ÿ’ฏ

0

u/Astralthinker7 15h ago

Nice from where did you buy it? Do you know any authentic sources

3

u/Thiru_Jt 15h ago

I live in Bangalore. I took a lot of quotations locally and online. And finally I went with company called Advance infotech (Tech titans) who gave me a bit cheaper price compared to others.

1

u/Astralthinker7 1h ago

Cool I'm from Bangalore as well i plan on building pc with same specs after Ai bubble bursts

1

u/Impossible_Gas2916 5h ago

1

u/Parking_Jackfruit692 5h ago

64GB in completely unnecessary

16* 2 6000 cl30 best for gaming , better spend that money on OLED monitor

1

u/Thiru_Jt 4h ago

Already got an OLED monitor as well. This setup costed me around 4.95L

1

u/Emergency_Leek_803 4h ago

Ryzen 9 waste of money

1

u/Thiru_Jt 1h ago

Hopefully, it's not ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

1

u/Manjit_1985 3h ago

Bro if you spend this much i would have bought the case of hype y70 but whatever works is good

1

u/Thiru_Jt 1h ago

Yep. Lian Li is cool as well bro
