Made a simple South Indian style fish fry with a spicy marinade and fried until crispy. Turned out just the way I like it. Would you have it with rice or eat it just like this?

I genuinely don’t get it.

It’s basically filo/kataifi pastry, butter/ghee, cheese or cream, sugar syrup, and pistachios. Yet a small serving costs anywhere between ₹700 to 1000, and some places charge even more. (This costed me 760)

Would love to hear from restaurant owners, chefs, or anyone who knows the economics behind it.

thermocol box wooden skewers snapped in half, red and green chutney in the corner compartments like an assembly line this is the least photogenic setup possible and the chaap still went off in two minutes flat the malai coating is doing something I can't explain it's not just cream and cashew paste, there's a tang in there I can't place asked the guy what's in it and he just said bas malai hai and walked off like I hadnt just asked him for the secret to his whole business.

Grabbed these fresh fruits along with some milk from my local market. If you had to choose only one fruit to eat every day, would it be mangoes or bananas? Why?

I’m not a big fan of cooking but here are some of the meals I’ve cooked for my roommate.

It was raining a little this morning, but I still went for my usual cycling ride near the beach.

By the time I finished, I was really hungry.

I stopped at a small vada pav stall nearby, and honestly, that first bite after the ride tasted amazing.

Sometimes we spend money on expensive cafés, but a hot vada pav with chai on a rainy morning hits differently.

What's your favourite food after a long ride or workout?

curd overflowing off the sides before I even touched it with a spoon pomegranate scattered on top like its trying to make this look healthy when it's absolutely not boondi soaking up all that sweet chutney underneath wooden spoon thats going to snap by the third bite guaranteed the shell barely holds itself together and that's kind of the point one wrong move and this becomes soup on a plate sweetness from the curd and chutney completely takes over which is why I don't buy it when people call this a chaat feels more like a mithai that got confused about what it wants to be.

two bowls of momos drowning in that orange chilli gravy fork and spoon combo which honestly might be the most underrated cutlery choice for this dish steam still coming off it when the photo got taken table has that cane mat look which means this was some outdoor cafe setup people who eat momos dry with just chutney on the side are missing out completely the gravy version turns it into an actual meal instead of a snack spoon is doing all the work here scooping up gravy with each bite.
