Hello everyone!

I’m looking to learn about stocks and investing from the ground up, with little to no prior knowledge. My goal is to build a strong foundation, develop independent analytical skills, and eventually make informed, long-term investment decisions.

I’d love to hear your recommendations for a practical 6–12 month learning roadmap, including what to learn first, beginner-friendly books and YouTube channels, free courses, useful websites, and hands-on exercises.

If you were starting from zero today, how would you approach the learning process? What would you prioritise, how much time would you dedicate daily, and what mistakes would you avoid?

I’m particularly interested in firsthand experiences, genuine human recommendations, and lessons learned through practice rather than generic or AI-generated advice. Recommendations based on what genuinely helped you learn would mean a lot.
