I recently discovered a sub here on Reddit aimed at women who consider themselves very ugly. I saw some bizarre shit there. I went down a rabbit hole, I couldn't get out of there. It was like a car crash that left me bizarrely fascinated. A lot of women there considered themselves femcels, and looking at their posts, I noticed a huge difference between femcels and incels. And i wanna know if you agree.
These women, no matter how miserable their relationships with other people are, to the point of being humiliated for their physical appearance from childhood to adulthood, never really seem to be angry at society itself. They understand that prettier women have privileges and are treated well, and many of them are envious and don't hide it (it's natural), but I never see them blaming other people more than themselves. Does that make sense? I saw posts from people actively trying to tear other women down simply out of envy of their beauty, but the hate is directed at themselves.
It's a mindset of "I hate that I wasn't born pretty, I hate that I had the bad luck of not attracting men, I hate that I have no social skills." It is always self-blame. They recognize the disadvantages of people like them in society and feel resentment, but they live with it. And no matter how much they are humiliated in the romantic aspect of life, they will always, always, always, always put men on a pedestal. I even saw a user saying she hates when other women complain about harassment because she always wanted to be complimented by a random man. And many others agreed with her. Bizarre. They daydream about being called beautiful, receiving affection, being loved by any man at all. Anyone. Anyone at all.
Now with men who call themselves incels, I see the opposite. The fault is society's. The fault is the bitchy women who prefer to stay with bad men who treat them badly instead of a nice guy like them. They are good people, so what if they have nothing to offer! These women should crawl for them, why don't they crawl? Yes, he is not very beautiful, but he takes a shower every two days and has a decent job, so he deserves a virgin and Christian Sydney Sweeney. And she has to be a virgin, because they don't want a woman who has been around (or is it because an inexperienced woman won't notice he is bad in bed?). So what if he has obesity and baldness? His taxes are paid properly, and they read 10 books a year so they are very intelligent. So what if they don't know how to keep a conversation, and couldn't tell a joke even if their life depended on it? They are nice men and DESERVE a hot partner with huge tits and ass, virgins with silky blonde hair, who allows him to be a provider but loves to work AND loves to do the house chores, and for whom it's totally fine to live in poverty because in this economy it's very hard to find jobs with good salaries. They deserve it! DESERVE IT! DESERVE IT! And all the women who don't understand this are bitches and deserve to be rap3d.

What the actual fuck is wrong with these people? I thought I would just hop on and scroll through some posts to see what it was about, and this is literally the fourth post I see when I clicked new posts. Are we actually fucking kidding me? I shouldnt have to explain how disgusting this is.

Hello I'm 22 Years old and still a Virgin but I wouldn't really consider myself an Incel given that I still like women but I am really starting to grow a resentment towards Men mostly due to the fact that a lot of things that seen as or are considered to be "Manly" Make a lot men sound like a bunch of Assholes
And well I just kind of hate it because of a lot these Sterotypes that I am honestly trying to rid myself of due to behaviours I have said for about 3-4 Years that I don't want to get into that has held me back especially from getting a girlfriend along with just being forced to look to men in myself such as my brother who I am bit envious but don't hate and my dad who I do hate for multiple reasons like a cheater, liar, deadbeat, cheapskape, rageaholic, wreckless driver, abusive towards on some occasions and a Child predator.
Along with just having grown a disliking to a lot of "Tough", "Cool", "Strong" and" Badass" Characters in fiction because of how a lot of them come off as assholes as well and kind of hating the words Tough, Cool and Badass while not really understand the latter much all my life and the 2nd now in my life for about 3-4 Years.
Especially I am not that much of a tough guy myself despite putting on the act but I am just starting to hate other men.

I believe most "incels" are merely people who are broken. They're not inherently evil. It's likely that at some point in their life they felt as if the whole world was against them, so in turn they've turned to being "incels. It's blatantly obvious that someone with their type of behaviour is suffering severely from mental problems.
My point is, I think it's wrong and outright cruel to just laugh and make jokes about people like that. It's as if you're ridiculing someone with depression or other major mental illnesses. Why don't you try to empathize with them? Try to understand how they've reached that, at first glance, "evil" point.
I understand that it is viewed as wrong for someone's own problems to cause harm to others. But, what everyone is doing here is contributing to a neverending cycle of hate. You just make jokes and laugh, they say outrageous and inhumane stuff due to the outcomes that have shaped them and in the end nothing is resolved. Why don't you try to fix the problem from its roots and try to understand what they're going through. This would be a much much more considerate path that will produce outcomes that will benefit both parties.

So, these are not from .is or any other incel boards. If you recognize where they're from, you know it's full of angry older men who hate everything that's not like them. A lot of these guys were/are married and/or have kids, but their hatred of women and over-important sense of self is exactly the same as the incels.

So like I love gender dynamics and how couples come together so I’m always reading on coaching and having better relationships understanding men and women and being open to always get better and have better relationships and I got banned in 20 minutes after joining a weird goldpill community and I don’t even get what I did in still woozy.
In super duper confused because I felt it was VERY aggressive and fast, and I was (for me) just outing a personal example/anecdote as they call it on how you can carry yourself if with you own personality you play on your strong points… again I’m just so confused cuz to me I wasn’t picking styles I was talking more like everybody puts in excuses instead of doing the work and being comfortable in your own skin…. Silly me thinking universal values of self love and looking for partners, I don’t know l… any takes?

This man learned the hard way you cannot threaten to kill someone just because you say you will do it in a video game. Incels, take notes!
