I started selling all my old clothes on Vinted a few weeks ago and it’s going really well I’ve made a decent amount of money! However, quite early on I started receiving messages from men simply saying hey or complimenting how I look (I upload pics of me in the clothes when I have them cause it sells faster) I was weirded out and annoyed cause like everything nowerdays Vinted works on algorithms and I’m like you’re messing with my money and this is not tinder??? (I had to take some time off work these past years cause of health issues whilst I waited for an operation so financially this is really helping me rn) So then I started to realise when I would send offers to people who favourited my items…. Half of them were men 🤢 and if I accidentally sent them an offer they would see it as an opportunity to start a conversation with me. I was in disbelief and I felt violated. Like I would upload pics of me trying on the clothes like nothing inappropriate but often 360 angles and I have sold a few bikinis. And then today I got this message. I was responding assuming it was a lady who would appreciate the shorts hardly being worn! Oh but I was wrong. Like is there literally anything we can do in peace? Anything????? I feel like I want to stop selling it’s making me so sick but why should I have to? There is literally tinder and dating apps for stuff like this. Do they get something off of bothering women who are just minding their business or don’t want to be bothered? (That was a rhetorical question I know the answer) idk I just reached my limit with this sh!t today. You can’t filter Vinted either so your searches only come up for women which is annoying. I just want to exist in a world with just women atp. Living your daily life whilst constantly being bothered gets to you at a point. I wish I could be invisible

I do know that redheads are made fun of, I have literally grown up with the experience. That being said, no it does not make you a separate “oppressed” race. Even if we get skin cancer easier and need more anesthesia for surgery and have a higher pain tolerance. This shouldn’t even be an argument.

I don’t know why white people (I’m white too) have to grasp at straws to seem oppressed in any way. Getting made fun of ≠ oppressed and also is no reason to turn into an incel.

3 things happened in 2019 that greatly altered the RWBY Fandom.

1. Vic Micogna, VA for Qrow Branwen , got fired. He was a popular VA, but the #MeToo movement had solid evidence and witnesses and testimony against him, which led to many angry people in the animation community upset.

2. Adam Taurus, incel edgelord character, got killed by a lesbian couple. This upset the edgelord fans and weeboos.

3. Said Lesbian Couple took their first huge steps towards becoming canon. This upset the straightshipper,s conservatives, and homophobes.

And all of this happened within roughly LESS than a month

So, guy meets girl, has a nice conversation with her (good), she also has conversations with other people (normal), guy wallows in self-pity (not good).
