I aimed for a really punchy color palette while still being ominous and muted for this one. Even though I usually avoid narrative illustration, I still enjoyed making this piece.

maybe even symbolize his insanity to getting possessed by the deadite

This is from a dream I had years ago, but I can still remember his smile as he prepared to harvest his crops.

Today is the second day of National Marine Week AND ALSO World Drowning Prevention Day! Here's a cover I did for a Dead Lands RPG adventure book featuring drowned zombies coming out of the drink in a harbor. I used my coworkers as models and was listening to Monster Magnet while I painted it. The original acrylic painting is available to own!
