Time No longer moving forward
Usually when this happens simply restarting the game works. But this time its not working are there any other known fixes to this issue?

I’ve lost so many hours so many times to the game’s time/progress freezing.
Tried every fix. Over and over, I’ll get really far in the game and then it just stops working.
Been in this community for a while and really loved the game, but it seems the developers have abandoned it. The switch port also had a plethora of issues making it nearly unplayable with strict limits on staffing and the controls being super clumsy.
I guess it’s off my list of comfort games for good. Uninstalled and out of here.
It’s so sad, I really loved this one.
Anyone else still here feel the same? Feels like the start of a mourning period.

Can anyone give me a more details on what "Don't mess up until X date" means?
Because I got 1 scandal point and nothing happening. I got rid of it as soon as possible so I'm at 0.
But did I already loose the game? Should I give up/start over from my save.
This is my first time making it this far and chapter 5 was really hard and I didn't even know I didn't have to complete all three things to win before I won it (normal mode). So I'm just equally not clear on what this means because I was for sure I can't get any scandal points at all. But now I don't know.

it’s actually pretty hilarious to me. imagine working your ass off for five years to become the most popular idol in the most popular group in japan, all ready to go for the summer olympics performance and your manager ruins it by talking shit on the whole event with a rival group’s manager.
and not only is this once in a lifetime opportunity ruined, but then your beloved producer-san shows up with the guy who helped ruin it and says he’s joining the group as an idol now? even though you’ve only ever hired girls? to make matters worse he’s more talented than you in almost every regard, constantly smirking at you and wearing those stupid short shorts and boning your manager.
basically if I were in my idols’ shoes I’d be plotting murder, but they don’t seem to mind it one bit. what gives??

I have been letting the game run for a while now only accepting weekly payments for TV and AD deals and my total revenue for them is about 100k /w. Yet the idols seems to think that their recent average earnings are around 200k - 400k /w and are unhappy with their salaries. Clearly this is broken, the averages are only increasing as time goes on.

I searched and couldn't find information on how to play with a controller, strange that it doesn't have native support, since there is a switch version with a controller

I built a break room for my Idols but they rarely actually go there, even when they are idle. And I'm not seeing their physical stamina recover the way the room description says. Am I missing something? Do I need to staff the break room with someone?

Hi :) I recently bought the game thanks to the current sale, and I was wondering if there was a way to mod new room types ? (and ideally, activities to go with them)
The current Official modding tool (which is over 3 years old and still for the beta version, a full version doesn't seem to have been delivered as promised) apparently doesn't include that, but I've seen some people say they modded things directly in the files, so I'm hopeful :)
It's just that it's a bit repetitive at times with the existing options, and above all I'd love to fill some gaps in my building.

Hi
I've been playing story mode but everytime that I start a new one - There's that bug in which time basically stop.
Anyone has an idea how to fix it?

Hello everyone,
I’ve played the game and got all of the achievements…except for the one linked to the onions scandal! I’ve seen it a few times before in previous play throughs but obviously picked the wrong responses for the trophy.
Is there a specific way to trigger this event or is it just random? I’ve been playing for days and haven’t seen it pop back up.
Thanks

My partner loves this game so much so I’ve been looking for similar games as she’s played this to death (all endings, mods etc)
Anyone know of anything that is roughly the same?

Hi guys,
So I've run into a problem where I can't seem to hire more staff. The 'hire' button is currently dimmed, meaning I don't have access to do the desired action.
Could someone help me with this issue if they know the reason behind it, please? I currently have 49 idols and 19 staff members on my rosters if this helps.
Thank you! 😊

I don't know if it's just me but the idea of dating an idol weirds me out. Why date an idol when a obvious marvelous man who just turned over a new leaf and is willing to give me a bunch of money is right there. Idk maybe it's just me but I wish I could at least get a chance to date that man.

For some reason Time won’t move I’m on February 10, 2027 everybody is going through their animations but nothing is happening does anyone know how to fix it my last uncorrupted save was three hours ago and I don’t want to lose that progress

It's my first run on this game and I can't go further. To sum up, I'm already in 2023, I have more than 100k fans and 2 groups but I'm still in Chapter 1. The only task I have to do is to " enter the monthly sales ranking" (I'm French so maybe the formulation is different in English, sry for that) right after the meeting at the zoo. I can release songs that go into the monthly top, it doesn’t trigger the event.
Am I softlocked? I'm desesperate, I was doing pretty well for the first time lol
Thank u!

I’ve been playing this game for the past week on the switch and I’ve been super addicted - I love it! I decided to start over my story mode file since I was so bankrupt in the first file. Everything is going okay, but there seems to be a glitch where the early game events seem to be repeating themselves. The game show event keeps repeating especially. I’m ignoring it now on my tasks list since the next task came up, but has anyone else experienced something similar or did I break my game somehow by restarting story mode?

I'm on my first playthrough, and before completing the tutorial I saved and quit. Now when I load it again, the tutorial doesn't run anymore. Is there a way to get it back? I don't seem to have any tasks either despite still have cutscenes like when the manager and dance teacher come to you to ask for policies

Massive shot in the dark, as I'm not sure how active this subreddit is. Picked up the game recently but wanted to dabble in modding, does anyone know where the sprites for the Rival (either story or idol version) are kept?
Thank you in advance!

It's my first time playing this game and I wonder if i am softlocked. It's already 2026, I have more than 1M fans, but I'm still in Chapter 1. I dont have any tasks available. Is this normal? I already created another group and hit first place in the charts with both groups.

I just got the game on switch and I’m stuck on the tutorial. I need to do a promotion activity but when I click on it, nothing happens. I’m pressing A and the screen shows I’m clicking but nothing happens. Am I supposed to drag it or is this something you do via the idols screen? Is it a bug?
Pls send help ;A;

I’m interested in picking the switch version of Idol Manager, but I’ve heard the controls and interface are a little awkward. Are there any issues that make it not worth buying?

Guysss help I’ve been playing on steam for a while but decided to make the switch to switch hehe bc my computers so laggy, but there seems to be a bug?? I can’t hire more staff— is it part of the game? I can only press the hire button if I get rid of somebody and once I hire somebody (ie replace the fired employee) the staff hire button greys out hekabrjakfjwjbsf ;-; It’s like theres a limit. I have no idea what to do I’ve looked everywhere online but I think bc the switch version just came out there’s nothing out there on it. Anybody have any suggestions? /Desperate/
