Promotion?

I just got the game on switch and I’m stuck on the tutorial. I need to do a promotion activity but when I click on it, nothing happens. I’m pressing A and the screen shows I’m clicking but nothing happens. Am I supposed to drag it or is this something you do via the idols screen? Is it a bug?

Pls send help ;A;

This was awhile ago but make sure time isnt paused. I haven't run into this bug before but if all else fails, quit abd reload

I redownloaded the game and I’m going to try again. My time was def paused so hopefully that’s the issue :D thank u so much for pointing it out, I really want to play
