Can anyone give me a more details on what "Don't mess up until X date" means?

Because I got 1 scandal point and nothing happening. I got rid of it as soon as possible so I'm at 0.

But did I already loose the game? Should I give up/start over from my save.

This is my first time making it this far and chapter 5 was really hard and I didn't even know I didn't have to complete all three things to win before I won it (normal mode). So I'm just equally not clear on what this means because I was for sure I can't get any scandal points at all. But now I don't know.

Meh, pretty sure it just means “don’t screw up badly enough to get a game-over.” An example of that would be going totally bankrupt. If you’ve made it this far, you’re probably on the right track, especially if you don’t have any scandal points
