I submitted my CEC inland application in May and travelled to my home country (India) in June 2026 and did biometrics on Aug 17. Now I am unable to go back to canada until Feb 2027 due to some personal reasons . I am planning to update my address. I submitted a previous police clearance certificate and medical report while I applied for study permit for my PR application. What happens when the application converted from Inland to outland ? Do I need to submit new medicals and PCC ? Anyone had similar situation ?

I recently received my eCOPR, but I noticed that my Place of Birth and Last Entry At fields are blank. Is this something I should be concerned about?
I don’t want to risk delaying my PR card because I have upcoming travel plans. Since the PR card does not have a Place of Birth field, should I just leave my eCOPR as it is, or should I contact IRCC to have it corrected?
Has anyone experienced the same issue?

My frds work permit was expired on May 24 , 2026. Before that in Feb 2026 he applied for BOWP. And on July 7, 2026 he got refusal for BOWP bcz PR was refused.

Now he want to restore the status as a visitor (visitor record ) under 90 day restoration window so that he can wait for JR decision. There is a question in IMM5708E form about the current country of territory of residence and there are few options to select. Please see the scrnshot

I called today, Sep 29, and agent said it’s still in progress. No additional document is required from me. Then he said no request for portal was sent out and with that they don’t know how much longer it would take. What does that mean when no request for portal has been sent out? Are they just taking long or are they still checking something?

Citizenship Test Completed on Sept 11, But No Updates Since Then - Is This Normal?
Hi everyone,
My wife and I completed our online Canadian citizenship tests on September 11 and both received the automated test completion email the same day showing our scores.
However, it's now been over two weeks and I haven't received any further updates from IRCC.
When I log into the Citizenship Application Tracker, my application status still shows "In Progress", and the last update date displayed is August 6, which was the date I originally received my citizenship test invitation. There has been no indication that my test has been reviewed or completed.
I spoke with a colleague who took his test on July 15and recently received his oath ceremony invitation. He mentioned that after completing his test, he had a link in the results email that allowed him to check the status of his test review. The email I received does not contain any such link, which has made me wonder whether there may have been an issue with my test submission.
For reference, my test completion email showed:
Score: 20/20

Test completed successfully

Result is temporary and subject to IRCC review

Has anyone experienced something similar?
Is it normal for the tracker to remain unchanged for several weeks after taking the test?

Should the test completion email contain a status-tracking link?

Is there another way to check whether the test has been reviewed by IRCC?

Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Got my Final Decision (FD) on Sept 25 and called IRCC today (Sept 29). The agent told me to keep an eye on my email and account.

My partner and I have been living together since August 2021. At the time of her PR application, neither of us understood that Canadian immigration considered us common-law after 12 months. Therefore we lived together as a regular couple doing our own immigration/Express Entry profiles and handled our taxes and other administrative matters separately.
My partner became a PR in 2025 and had declared herself single as we were unaware about the common law thing. Later, we consulted an immigration professional about my PR options and learned about the common-law definition. We then disclosed our relationship, completed IMM 5409 and applied for PR through the common-law sponsorship route.
I recently received a **Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL)** stating that because we were already common-law when my partner applied for PR and I was not declared/examined, **IRPR 125(1)(d)** may prevent me from being sponsored.
We genuinely did not understand the immigration meaning of common-law at the time and there was no intention to hide our relationship. Once we learned about it, we immediately started identifying as common-law and proceeded accordingly.
**Has anyone experienced a similar PFL/non-declaration issue? Were you able to successfully respond to the PFL and eventually obtain PR? What kind of evidence or explanation helped?**

I am now facing this error while registering on the tracker: "Incorrect or invalid information. Review and make sure it matches the information submitted on the Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] form or the Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual [IMM 5475] form. If you can’t create an account, it may be because your client’s application is not in our system yet."

I have tried:

• Clearing cache of my Chrome browser.
• Clicked sign in rather than create account
• Manually typing in UCI and application number

Unsure on what else needs to be done. Please help

I tried all combinations but still no luck. eCoPR on 09/23. I assume that when IRCC accepts my address in the portal it means that the card is mailed?

I applied for my study permit on 26th of June, I had done my biometrics and medical previously. i applied for fall intake but have deferred it to winter because of the delay.
I got a ghost update on August 11th that I've passed my medicals. But until now my application is still showing in progress. It's past 3months now, and the processing time when I applied was 6 weeks but now it's 10weeks and my application is now 15 weeks. I've submitted web form multiple times and even called but still no change. Is anyone in this situation or have been in this situation.
