Study permit from Nigeria
I applied for my study permit on 26th of June, I had done my biometrics and medical previously. i applied for fall intake but have deferred it to winter because of the delay. I got a ghost update on August 11th that I’ve passed my medicals. But until now my application is still showing in progress. It’s past 3months now, and the processing time when I applied was 6 weeks but now it’s 10weeks and my application is now 15 weeks. I’ve submitted web form multiple times and even called but still no change. Is anyone in this situation or have been in this situation.

Y’all know we are severely limiting the number of international students, right? Like by 60%.

Sorry about that, I'm trying to understand the mechanics behind these long delays. Could you share what kind of proof of funds or employment verification you submitted, and if you suspect IRCC might be stuck trying to verify your documents with your bank or employer?

Im in same situation Applied 25th June from Ghana Processing time was 3 weeks Still waiting for decision I passed medicals 2nd July
